JUST IN. Fuel will only be loaded directly to fuel tanks.

Purchase of fuel to be stored in gallons is now prohibited in Cebu Province’s towns and Cebu City.

This is among the policies agreed upon during the coord meeting between Garcia and Rama.

An exception to this rule is fuel purchase meant for the refilling of generator sets. Consumers, however, need to show proof of purchase and observe the refilling quota.

Quota per day:
200L for commercial establishments
10L for residential use

Garcia signs Executive Order No. 50 which sets forth fuel purchase regulations:

Cliesteil Cimafranca is a youth leader in Cebu City manning donation drives for urban poor areas.

Even though her own family has been affected by Typhoon Odette, she said she is helping out because she knows there are residents in more dire situations.

@rapplerdotcom Image
Her, along with more youth in Cebu, chose to remain in their donation drive HQ so as not to hamper relief operations.

@rapplerdotcom Image
Her village in Basak San Nicolas, Cebu City was ravaged by a fire less than a week before Typhoon Odette.

She chose to step up because people are hungry and cannot afford to wait for aid from local government.

Water is still sparse in the city.
