Hearing now in the case of Ryan Nichols, the J6 detainee asking to be released and the removal of the government's protective order on 3 hours of crucial surveillance video from January 6:
Judge Hogan, 83, Reagan appointee presiding. I don't have a lot of hope Hogan will release Nichols. Hogan refused to release George Tanios, accused of "spraying" Brian Sicknick even though Tanios wasn't charged with spraying Sicknick himself.
DC Circuit overturned Hogan's order.
Hogan notes Nichols has been behind bars for 11 months. (He's in DC Gulag). First time Hogan is hearing a motion for release. Cites Munchel and Chrestman rulings by DC Circuit which set parameters for all J6 defendants and his ruling on Tanios.
Status hearing now for multi-defendant case including Robert Morss, aka Lego Man, who’s been behind bars since his June arrest. His atty John Kiyonaga asking for his release. Part of filing here…Morss was in tunnel where police, protesters brawled:
Morss was moved from DC Gulag to another jail after being subjected to abusive strip search by gulag jail guards.
DOJ accused Morss of using his military training as an Army ranger (with 3 tours in Afghanistan) to lead the “riot.”
Trump appointee McFadden, a total lightweight, denies Morss motion for release. Claims no conditions of release are sufficient. After this clown just said status hearings aren’t to vet evidence, he’s trying the case against Morss right now. “Pretty shocking someone would…
Anyone want to ask @Liz_Cheney where she gets 187 minutes before Trump said anything?
First breach of building at 2:13p.m.--Trump's first tweet at 2:38:
"Please support our Capitol Police and Law Enforcement. They are truly on the side of our Country. Stay peaceful!"
Trump tweet at 3:13pm (half hour after Capitol cop executed unarmed Ashli Babbitt):
"I am asking for everyone at the U.S. Capitol to remain peaceful. No violence! Remember, WE are the Party of Law & Order – respect the Law and our great men and women in Blue. Thank you!"
At 4:17pm, Trump posts a video message on Twitter:
"We have to have peace. We have to have law and order."
Sentencing up now for Brandon and Stephanie Miller, an Ohio couple pleading guilty to "parading" in the Capitol on January 6. They were in the building for about ten minutes. Judge Chutkan presiding:
DOJ wants 2 months home detention, 36 months probation, 60 hours community service, $500
restitution, $10 special assessment for Stephanie Miller and 3 months home detention, 36 months probation, 60 hours community service, $500 restitution and $10 assessment for Brandon.
Class B misdemeanor with max 6 months in jail and $5k fine. Chutkan, an Obama appointee, has defied DOJ sentencing recommendations a few times and imposed jail time instead of home detention for J6 "paraders."
The more you see how every government institution—from Congress to federal courts—in DC are weaponizing the four-hour disturbance at the Capitol to crush Trump allies and voters, the more you must believe that January 6 was an inside job.
You think this was some organic gift…
to the Biden regime and Democrats? That they just got together a few days afterwards and said, “hey, we can use the furry shaman and Indiana meemaws to unleash a legal and media terror campaign against Trumpists?”
C’mon, man.
FBI, natsec, Schiff and company already proved…
they will use every tool available, including secret courts and special counsels, to destroy Trump. It’s just a coincidence it only took 4 years btw the FBI ambushing Mike Flynn in the White House to ambushing Florida pastors in their own homes?
