If you know anything about India & Islam & Christianity's history in that nation then you are lying. Why is that? Still holding onto Islam's rampant bigotry against Hinduism? Switch from Islam to Christianity to continue the bigotry?
There is a lot of violence, bigotry and hatred in India, it has been that way ever since Islam invaded & Christianity held inquisitions & colonized. Even after all the genocide, even after the country was partitioned for Islamic bigotry killing millions more to create Pakistan.
Islam & Christianity continue their bigotry against Hinduism in "independent" India driving separatism & violence in Kashmir & the North East. Three main drivers of violence & killing in India are Islam, Christianity & Marxists/Naxals/Communists, they instigate then blame Hindus.
And you ignored everything I just stated to pursue your propaganda agenda against Hindus. To answer your question, in self defense when being attacked & to prevent being killed yourself, I absolutely defend it.
You are just repeating propaganda & clearly know nothing about India beyond that propaganda. Bigots like you will drive India to religious Civil War in support of Islam & Christianity destroying the last surviving civilization of the ancient world.
Hindus are not running around killing Christians and Muslims. They will rough up Muslims or Christians violating the law or doing illegal conversion activity then hand them over to the police.

Clueless Americans responding to NYT bigoted propaganda & lies against India & Hindus. Crying for Christians who are actively trying to destroy another non-Abrahamic culture as Islam & Christianity have done throughout a history littered with genocide & cultural destruction.
Christians from Western Nations push billions into India financing missionaries to convert & destroy the oldest continuous civilization on our planet. Through deceit, propaganda & lies they convert Indians into religious bigots demonizing & attacking their own culture & people.

Must read article on Tariq Ramadan, Islamic scholar and taqiya expert afforded position as a high school teacher were he seduced & abused students then given high positions in western academia including Oxford even as he sexually abused more students.
Western Universities are paid handsomely by Islamic nations & China to sponsor Islamic & Communist/Marxist agenda. Seems western governments & especially leftists "liberal" politicians have same problem as they actively deceive the people they represent about Islam & Communism.
