Okay, we are seeing the sci-fi front and center. Yay!! Also it’s really interesting to see so much of the old tongue. Both were those name drops clumbsy.

Maybe unpopular opinion, I like the look of the blight. The idea of it basically being a horror forest is perfect camp.

Boy I wish we had had a couple more episodes for EF5 character building. @PrimeVideo more episodes please ya doofus.

While it’s performed well, the Lan spilling his heart needed to come later. This is too fast.

Fakeout deaths are blatant and annoying. The face shot was freakin great! I like the intimidation of the performance so far, but I want the mad version. Boy the confidence is great though. A monster toying with a child.

I really hope the show explains the difference between having your dream invaded vs being in the dream world. Otherwise Rand would have just killed himself. An IMPORTANT distinction.

The Rand Moiraine chemistry is great. I really like these two together. It’s annoyance and banter with an undertone of respect.

Ah yeah. Deff a trap and not the dark ones prison. Some plot beats deff making sense now. The VFX are looking a bit wonky. Needed more time in oven.

BOOK SERIES SPOILERS: Okay so we’re directly paralleling some things from the end of Memory of light on a smaller scale. Makes sense if you’re going to alter the ending of EotW. It’s just… hmm. Okay.

So Xbox 360 trollocs. Let’s stick with practical. Also stop having battles in broad daylight. It’s making this way harder than it needs to be.

So far this may be the shakiest episode for me. I’m liking some of the choices but it doesn’t feel confident. I’m also very worried about implications for late book. Though performance wise this episode feels strongest yet.

Okay the mind games with Rand are working for me. It feels like a scared kid next to a force.

Now that it’s night the Trollocs look okay enough. This is the least finished the show has looked visually to me. Josha is selling me in his scene though. I can’t get over the source just coming from somewhere off screen.

Aight the ending here didn’t have me. Mostly due to how clearly under baked the visuals were. This is a post issue. I did like that slight smile though. This was all a test.

Aight I love the burning out is shown. That was BRUTAL.

Pretty clear where Mat was supposed to be.

“Goodbye Moiraine” odd.
They stabbed Loial… everyone in that room must die.
Moiraine is… what?! That’s a huge change.

This feel like defeat for the party which at least is the proper note to end on. Not my fav ep.

Oh… well the very end… that’s a note to end on. Holy crap. Yeah the one power is leveled up on strength, not down.
