Madam is very funny in this explanatory video. She points at "everything" as the reason for brain drain. I think she is trying not to screw up by pointing to the obvious reason - broken administration and judiciary.
We can't trust our judiciary to deliver justice. We can't trust our taxation system to be fair. We can't trust our financial systems to be open.
Our administrative system is broken. Our civil "servants" are our "masters" and they know it in their bones that we are ants that need to be squished under their boot heels - remember "tum sala gulaam laga ... amaara joota ka nicche hi rahegaa"?
Heck, our administrative systems can't keep our roads clean! Why would anyone with even itsy bitsy talent to get things done stay back? Thats one side of the coin. The other side is the famous Indian "manasikta".
Madam tries to say "this benefit, that benefit, and that, and that also, but also this as well" as reasons for brain drain. Most important reason is "ego boost". I have faced it with my own family members - what I would like to call "suri babu syndrome".
When our colleagues come from US - this guy has probably lived and used same trains as we did, same roads as we did - but he will lecture us that you know "back at home, we do things differently". After a few curses in my mind, I used to blurt out - "wow, that sounds amazing"
That ego boost you get as an NRI is probably priceless. Like my uncle after his first visit to US on work visa, comes back and talks to others as "ohhh, thats ok I can ship it to you tomorrow". I was like "why would you send it by ship, when you can send it by courier"
This "manasikta" will continue to boost "brain drain" and there is nothing wrong with it. It is first of all a personal choice but more importantly it makes the parents and close relatives of these people extremely proud.
If you are like me, it is great entertainment listening to them lecturing about modern systems compared to our shitty stone age systems. I just allow them to think that we don't know how to use escalators and keep harping. It is lovely entertainment.
I meet people - probably just like most of your do - in my regular social life. Many of them have a simple question somewhere during the conversation - have you been to the US?
I explain that my work doesn't require much travel. When I did travel, I did so only because a higher up white master wanted to size me up or find out whether I am worth his time or to get some boards back for testing - since you know, our customs reaaaalllly sucks!
But most of the time, they don't get it. Having a visa - even if it is a tourist visa - is considered an honor. We flushed our self respect down the western toilet very early in our lives. There is nothing great about being a citizen of India - especially if you are a Hindu.
I would say Indian government should encourage brain drain, make special deals with Canada, Germany, UK - where there is a special demand for high end tech today. There is no point in making people suffer because our broken system.
For the likes of me, it is our responsibility to develop some self respect in our kids. We can do that by telling teaching them why being an Indian - especially a Hindu - is such a great privilege. Why we being to the world's most important religions for the sake of its future.
Why these struggles in life pale in comparison to living the life of a second class citizen in a foreign country. I have been trying to do that with my kids but I have a feeling one of them will flee at the first opportunity but the other will probably catch the cold from me.🤞

After two failed attempts to get darshana of the swayambhu at Korukonda, today finally prabhu granted permission.
The rama katha sculpted in the prakara atop the hill - what an awesome temple!
The outer walls of the prakara of swayambhu atop the hill has the rama katha sculpted around it in two rows. Some snaps. Pardon bad pics. No talent.
Top row on the west side (?) depicts dasavatara-s. However, the order seems strange. Also, there is a depiction of either buddha or a tirthankara - very likely buddha. Not Venkateswara - as is popular in this part of the country.
People like this idiot like us to die in shame, may be even dismantle our national character. But for the sake of those who are still interested in some sanity:
Why his voice matters? Because he is a certified Modi hater by both our side blackpillers and our enemies too.
Why this 3-piece opinion? Because these achievements are not that of Modi government and hence cannot contested as some sort of apologetic.
New India is not for the idiots like the one in the quoted tweet above. It is for the brave. It is for those with self esteem. It is for those with self confidence.
Very important question in today's Bhagavadgita Lessons live on SVBC:
If we are all under the control of trigunatmaka mula prakriti, then what is the point of all this? Anyhow, I cannot do anything on by own free will!?
Acharya is at 61st shloka in 18th adhyaya.
Personally, this question has been bugging me from as long as I can remember. I don't think I understand much of what acharya is saying - missing brain cells you see - but I hope others who have this question would help. Lesson is in #Telugu
"What is the point of saying that we have to abide by satkarma acharana, if it is also going to result in another life in another body? What is the point of it even if we were bound by moha?"
Most think that the story of the decade in a laid back town like Rajamahendravaram is the rise and rise of the radical evangelical Christian faith.
The real story is the undeniable growth of the Islamic fundamentalist middle class.
Just 2 decades ago, in this town, we had hardly a handful of Muslims who would refuse to speak with others in Telugu. Only the marwadi women used to refuse to speak in Telugu - they would never learn the language.
In the case of the marwadis, it is not a great problem because of their ability to assimilate with the local culture made them easy to work with.
From Tanguturi Prakasam garu's biography - "నా జీవన యాత్ర" (from the third part which was added to the biography. This part was written by "Tenneti Vishwanatham".
Note the consternation that happened between leaders of that time about the capital city.
Even when Andhra State was formed, the natural choice of capital was Visakhapatnam (well, obvious if you think about it). But "socialists and communists" in Vijayawada wanted a temporary capital in Vijayawada.
As we can see in this note from the man's own auto biography, Rayalaseema is the one area that has been treated very badly. Leaders of that region were literally begging - Andhra Univ will be in KG, at least give us temp capital.
I have no hesitation in saying that TDP - be it online, offline, on the ground or underground - have no even an iota of inclination towards a strong hindutva base. They are only and only interested in their business. Fair game. No problem with it. But H-wadis should be careful.
There was a time when Andhra Telugus unequivocally echoed national interest. Politicians showed it in their actions. Today that is not the case. Couple that with a lost and degraded emotional core among the electorate, you get AP.
Take any national movement or Hindu movement, Andhra Telugus had a strong say and participated with utmost enthusiasm.
