Farbrace quite punchy on the issues, including why youth coaches not addressing technical issues is a “cop out” which means batters get to county cricket with fundamental flaws in their games.

Are pitches to blame? Not according to Farbrace. If a pitch does a bit in early season, it’s a choice to chance your arm and try to get a quick 30. The other option is to knuckle down and trust technique. Blaming pitches is too easy an excuse #Ashes
