When asked, the Ivernian said no-one in his family contacted him on Christmas Day.
"I don't blame them for that, really," he said.
He had otherwise had a pleasant day, at the home of the mother of friend, where they'd played Scrabble and engaged in a movie trivia quiz.
Even though he was rubbish at spelling and usually avoided Scrabble. And he came last in the movie quiz.
