“America First Bitch.”

The next Jan. 6 sentencing on the schedule is for Leonard Pearso Ridge IV.

No sentencing recommendation filed yet, but a defense memo notes he missed out on "prom, Senior Spirit Day, and the senior year picnic” because of the pandemic.
"Just pray for me that I don’t get arrested by the fbi.”

Ridge will be sentencing by Judge James E. Boasberg on Jan. 4.
Defense: "During a time when most teenagers and young adults dream only of being 'influencers’ on social media platforms… His interest in politics is a good thing and but for entering the Capitol on January 6th, should be applauded.” storage.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.usco…
"The consequences of his actions will follow him forever. When Googling his name, he will always be tied to the actions of January 6th. The conviction and public humiliation of this is in and of itself is punishment enough.”
Bucks County’s Leonard Pearson Ridge IV tells the judge he’s “learned that protest should be peaceful and not what they turned into on Jan. 6th. I did enter the Capitol which was very wrong and I am very sorry.”
Val Ridge, a former police officer, says that their nephew should be made to volunteer at a VA hospital.

"Let him see what true patriots/[heroes] look like... not the... individuals who influenced him on Jan 6th.”

“I got 3 cans of bear spray”

Chris Quaglin, who used the vanity Facebook name "Chris Trump, was captured on video assaulting law enforcement multiple times on Jan. 6.

The feds say he sprayed a D.C. police officer "directly into the face" while wearing a "MAGA" hoodie.
"I'm going to war... I might not even make it back... I'm really ready to just the kamikaze... Looking forward to a war... #letshaveawar... I have been planning for this since fucking Bush left office and obama came in."

Any pretrial detainee or prisoner with a gluten intolerance should be appropriately fed, but it’s remarkable to see how willing far-right politicians have been to associate themselves with Capitol rioters caught on camera viciously assaulting cops on Jan. 6.

Missed this last week: Judge Emmet Sullivan has issued his long-awaited written opinion on the pre-trial detention of Ronald Colton McAbee, aka #ThreePercentSheriff
Sullivan: "he was willing to allow those beliefs to override his sworn duty to uphold the rule of law as a law enforcement officer and even fight against officers with whom one would expect he held a mutual respect or kinship.”

Here's "Rally Runner," a St. Louis Cardinals fanatic, at the front of the battle with a stolen police shield. Tucker Carlson viewers now believe this man, who's been running around Busch stadium for years, is some sort of secret undercover operative. huffpost.com/entry/tucker-c…
Once again, this is who they think is an undercover law enforcement officer. This guy.
“If I’m wrong, so be it, bro. I don’t care,” said the attorney for several Jan. 6 defendants. “I don’t give a shit about being wrong.” huffpost.com/entry/tucker-c…

Three hours of Jan. 6 surveillance video from the tunnel at the top of the inauguration platform was released today, showing brutal attacks on officers that day.

It also shows that the first guy to cross the threshold of the tunnel was wearing shorts, in January.
“Most of the people on the ground are buffoons, so what? There are 15,000 of them.” — Mike Fanone huffpost.com/entry/mike-fan…

A tearful Rodriguez called himself “so stupid,” “an asshole,” and a “fucking piece of shit” during the FBI interview, and worried that his “mom’s gonna find out” what he did. huffpost.com/entry/daniel-r…

Big news for federal prisoners released to home confinement due to COVID: The Office of Legal Counsel has reconsidered its opinion and now believe the CARES Act “grants [the Bureau of Prisons] discretion to permit prisoners in extended home confinement to remain there.”
Key section: the law “allows the agency to use its expertise to recall prisoners only where penologically justified, and avoids a blanket, one-size-fits-all policy.”
Statement from Attorney General Merrick Garland:
