Thread : North blue is based on Europe

Being one of the four Blues, it's the origin of many characters and the location of many islands. Here are some of the details that I found "European" about the North Blue.

🏰 Trafalgar Law and his family are from North Blue. His name has origins from the Battle of Trafalgar and the Battle of Waterloo.

🏰 According to oda if sanji existed in real life he would be french

🏰 The Montblanc family from NB being a reference to the Mont blanc. The highest mountain in the Alps and Western Europe, rising 4,807.81 m above sea level

🏰 Characters from north blue that tie with european culture trough their names origins :

Douglas bullet (scottish origins) borsalino (italian origins) , Beckmann (german origins) hawkins (irish)
DonQuixote doflamingo (Spanish)
drake (british origins)

🏰 Vergo, Trebol, Diamante, and Pica are from NB. The island they lives in right now (Dressrosa) has Italian and Spanish influence.

🏰Flevance (Law's hometown) is very similar to the town of Casale Monferrato in Italy, where thousands died because of asbestos mining.

🏰 Spider Miles: The island where Law met Doflamingo resembles Industrial Revolution Europe

🏰 Chap who is King of deul kingdom in north blue is a clear pun at adolf hitler's design

🏰 The architecture of Minion Island (an island in the NB) is pretty European

🏰 Germa 66 is a clear reference to nazis

North blue... The most interesting sea out of the 4 :

🟢A sea extremly harsh and violent as fuck (i still have that law flash-back in mind...the most violent flash-back in one piece)

🟢 Big shots coming from it : akainu, kizaru, Beckmann, tsuru, law....

When the germa soliders and the vinsmokes sibs are going to scream :
