I'm 19.

I started creating @NotionHQ templates earlier this year, which led me to making over $30,000 on @gumroad

Here are 7 lessons from my journey:

1. Start small

Stop overthinking, and making excuses for not getting started.

Build a simple product, and then share it. Start small, and get started.

2. Learn by copying

I used to think we have to invest lots of money and time to learn a skill well.

I was wrong.

I realised the best way to learn is to copy from the best, then derive your own path.

3. Don’t give up

We don’t always see results even after consistent work.

But keep going, you will get there.

4. Don’t compare with others

Comparison is the thief of joy.

Focus on your own path, your only competitor is you.

Do it for yourself.

5. Be kind to yourself

Take more breaks.

Being kind to yourself promotes happiness and confidence.

The world is harsh enough.

6. Embrace your mistakes

Everyone makes mistakes.

Embrace your mistakes, learn from them. Only then you can move forward.

The greatest mistake a man can ever make is to be afraid of making one.

7. Choose positivity

Kill your negative thoughts.

A positive mind finds opportunity in everything.
