This year was a roller coaster ride for the sneaker twitter community.
With plenty of highs and lows, We're going to start from January, and work our way down.

January:
Jan 2021 was the month of despair for many on sneaker twitter. Many people and businesses got susp3nded (including me!) which led to panic due to a heavy reliance on Twitter for sales/marketing.
This month in particular was also one of the worst ever for sneaker drops.

February was the month that AKA from Rush AIO started making some interesting tweets which led to some describing the fine gentleman as "clinically insane".
Once again, was a pretty dry month for Sneakers.

Now things start to get interesting. March introduced us to the kid who ate paper every day in an attempt for @DragonAIOBot to gift him a key.
He didn't get a key.
Also, whatayeezy tweeted that he would feel honoured to let NBA players have his girl.

FREEDOM! Following on from everyone getting susp3nded, pretty much everyone got unsuspended (except for Wrath OG Twitter 😭) this month.
There were probably other interesting things which happened this month but I didn't note anything further sadly.

Yeezy and Nike both had their special events this month. To summarise:
- Yeezy day was good
- SNKRS day was trash
In addition:
- Elevate & Mercury AIO shut down
Many people began trading NFTs in August and we saw a massive change in tide amongst many in the community.

Pretty much everyone at this point within the sneaker scene had tried their luck with NFTs, and a number had begun to quit sneakers all together.
@TheShamdoo went from SNKR Twitter C-Tier to NFT Twitter S-Tier within the space of a few weeks.

A large number of sneaker bot devs begin working on NFT bots and some of the first NFT bots begin to launch, originating from sneaker twitter developers.
