1/ 2021 saw NFTs become the face of the web3 community. Will 2022 see the rise of DAOs? Here are my predictions in a🧵:

2/ web3 stands for communities and above all, decentralization. DAOs seem to be a perfect amalgamation of the two. 2022 will see a lot of DAOs built for social causes, and solving problems that were traditionally deemed to be mammoth tasks.

3/ $DROPS - If there was one thing that caught the attention of web3 Twitter towards the end of 2021, it was 'token airdrops'. As much as purists may hate it, new DAOs will be looking towards token airdrops as their best and easiest way to gain traction, and widespread reach.

4/ Breaking the wall - It won't be long before DAOs challenge traditional governance/ownership, and attempt to improve it (like a political party or a corporate group). We may be able to see some big corp. takeover, or a DAO winning votes in politics, if things move fast enough

5/ While there is no clear leader in building a decentralized social media platform yet, 2022 might see exciting projects like @DAOCentral @metalinklabs @walldotapp rise, based on how well they play their cards
