The earlier objectives with 57 with the tender were 3-dimesional and as follows:

โ€ข Air Wing for both IAC-1 (Vikrant) and IAC-2 (under early stage of design).
โ€ข Significant modernization of Naval combat ability.
โ€ข Modern 4.5 jets in long run.
The recent changes indicate that Navy now would like to focus on acquiring an interim solution focused on operationalising Vikrant with a dedicated air wing instead of only transferring MiG-29K, acquired between 2010-2016 (first unit inducted in 2013).
3 OEMs are reportedly still offering their flagship products: US Based Boeing with F/A-18E/F "Super Hornet" Block III, Russia based Rosoboronexport with MiG-29K and French Dassault Aviation with Rafale M.

After Pakistan, Bangladesh is now being speculated to be the next customer of FC-20E (J-10CE) fighter aircraft. The country was also among the first nations along with Pakistan to evaluate the aircraft (most likely J-10A) in the past.
Due to several shortcomings reported by officers and pilots from both foreign and domestic Air Force, J-10A was not fit for export. J-10C, with mature airframe and avionics suite, offers more room for customization as per the customer's requirement, making it an ideal choice.
However, BAF and the government of Bangladesh is still optimistic to choose a twin engine western origin fighter like Dassault Rafale ๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ต and Eurofighter Typhoon ๐Ÿ‡ช๐Ÿ‡บ as their next-gen MultiRole Combat Aircraft (MRCA) under Forces Goal 2030 military modernization plan.

The Indian Air Force is reportedly planning to order additional batch of CH-47F(I) "Chinook" heavy-lft helicopters, which will bolster the capabilities of the organization to carryout airlifting missions in all-weather conditions.
โ€œCase for procurement of additional Chinooks to meet our operational requirements is under active considerationโ€, said Chief of Air Staff (CAS) Air Chief Marshal Vivek Choudhary in an exclusive interview with Vayu Aerospace.
Since the induction in March 2019, the helicopter significantly enhanced IAF's cargo transport and airlifting capacity, during both peace-time and war-time. During 2020-21 standoff with China, the airframe's performed exceptionally well in high altitude region of Ladakh.
