With RATs in short supply, there is one big thing you can do to remain safe in shared spaces, particularly indoors - mask up in an N95/P2 respirator. Here's a thread-o of some common brands at the best prices I can find them in stock. I have no affiliation with any of them!

A couple of points to start:
1. Yes you can reuse! Let your respirator dry out between uses
2. For proper use, mould the nose wire over your nose properly
3. I'm going to include some of the most popular masks but i'll point out that they're at inflated prices 😠😠😠

4. The best respirators are N95/P2 with head straps, not ear loops. KN95 are frequently imitated - if you do want them, look for ones with GB2626 stamped on the mask itself
5. I'm not including masks whose certification I can't verify, or that i'm completely unfamiliar with.

3M Aura (1870+)
- The 1870 (red bands) is a higher rating than the 9320A+ (blue bands), but both are very good

3M 1860 - this is a cupped respirator (the blue/green one, not the white one). Some people find them less comfortable but they tend to be cheaper and more readily available

3M 8210 - another cupped respirator (the white one). It helpfully comes in small and regular sizing.

Less common than 3M and not generally used in hospitals, so can be easier to find.

Not the most comfortable but definitely accessible and cheaper than most at less than $2 per mask.

Halyard N95 Duckbill - a comfortable but not easy to get mask that comes in packs of 35. Two sizes available

BYD N95 - OK I hate this mask so feel free to hoard it to your heart's content (don't, hoarding is bad). Some people like it but it made my nose bleed.

AMD P2 - this comes in both earloop and head strap versions, at about $2 and $2.50 each respectively. Australian made!

OK so I would normally add the BSN Proshield N95 but they're nigh on impossible to get at present. If you're dead keen on a KN95, the most reputable ones I have bought are from Strapit.
