When writing however, I realized that there were five authors who have had a major impact in the way I structure the book and my thought process.

PG Wodehouse
Jeffrey Archer
Kalki
Louis L'Amour
Alistair Maclean
I especially like a quote attributed to Louis L'Amour where he says "I think of myself as a storyteller, a modern day troubador". That always appealed to me.

Another author who follows that is Jeffrey Archer, who, with his first paragraph, nay, line, has the reader hooked.
Kalki's method is to hook the reader towards the end of his chapters, leaving something dangling, for the reader to carry on reading.

PGW of course is the master of the language and humor.
Maclean's deadpan humor and crisp writing style for action sequences always appealed to me.
I don't know whether my style is a meld of these or not, but for sure, these are the ones who have influenced the way I write. n/n
