Over Xmas @JujuliaGrace tweeted that I was "trolling" her and threatened legal action over a tweet I posted pointing out that she sells face masks. She claimed my tweet was inaccurate - but only after she & her company @EveryDoctorUK blocked me so I could not see those tweets. 1/
I texted @JujuliaGrace to politely ask her what was inaccurate in my tweet and explained that if I had been factually wrong "I will be happy to apologise and correct it". She did not reply.
She did, though, tweet to her followers about my text message six days later... 2/
After I was alerted to these tweets (remember, I can't see them myself) I texted @JujuliaGrace again. And once again, she failed to respond to me but did, once again, tweet her followers about my text message. 3/
Since @JujuliaGrace seems to be implying there's something deeply sinister in my texting her (how could a journalist *possibly* have the number of someone who regularly appears on TV & radio?! 🙄) I thought I'd save her the time and post my texts myself. This is the first one: 4/
And this is the second text I sent @JujuliaGrace yesterday (excuse the "haven't" typo in the final line) 5/
As @JujuliaGrace has blocked me, she won't see this thread, of course.
I'm still waiting to hear back from her (or her barrister) as to what I got wrong in my original tweet. Happy to correct & apologise for any inaccuracy but I can't if she won't tell me what I got wrong 🤷🏻♀️

I have been struck by the poignant messages I've received all week from Jewish friends, neighbours and even total strangers. But all saying how scared they are and how fearful they are that they are alone here in the UK, that we won't stand up for them in their hour of need.
1/
They are bewildered by the hatred directed at Jews and at Israel despite them being the victims of the horrific massacre of Israelis by Hamas terrorists.
One friend said simply "If Israel isn't safe - the one place we always knew we could escape to - then nowhere is safe."
2/
The pro-Palestine protest in London yesterday has chilled many of our fellow citizens to the bone. Support for Hamas was open and proud on our streets - a terror group that wants to obliterate not just the state of Israel but the Jewish people too.

I waited to see the Dispatches/Sunday Times investigation of @rustyrockets before forming an opinion on the allegations. Crazy idea, I know.
I also want to hear #RussellBrand's defence. Without a police inquiry or court case, we can't know for sure what really happened. 1/4
The reality is that there have been and still are many, many men in the showbiz world who behave in the way @rustyrockets is being accused of - and they are surrounded by men (AND women) who allow it, cover it up and even enable it. 2/4
@rustyrockets But there are also plenty of women who actively want to have one-night stand sex with celebrities like @rustyrockets. The issue is whether they are too easy prey for exploitation when it goes wrong. 3/4
When you have two bathrooms and one of them still works but is irreparably leaking and needs to be replaced so you book your builders in to start the work while you're away on holiday but, just before you leave, the other bathroom gets a blocked Saniflo pipe so is unusable... 1/
... and you ask the builders to mend that bathroom before they start demolishing the working bathroom but they ignore you and rip out the working bathroom anyway and fail to mend the blocked pipe in the other bathroom so you come home to... NO BATHROOM AT ALL 2/
... so you have to pop to friends' homes nearby to use the loo and have a shower for 5 long days while plumbers try to unblock the pipe and then they fix the problem and you finally get a working bathroom in your own home again. That. 3/
Hey @ryanair, tell your ground crews to stop telling your passengers to France that they are required to wear a face mask on the flight. They're not. Under UK, French, EASA & ECDC rules and your own CEO's policy, passengers do not need to wear masks. You're welcome.
Just spent 10 minutes arguing with a very rude @Ryanair gate staffer who insisted that if I refused to wear a mask, I wouldn't get on the flight. She told me: "What is your problem? No one else is complaining."
It IS a problem. Always complain. Always.
And yes, I know I'll get loads of abusive tweets now from people saying "yeah, hypocrite, but you've worn a mask on plenty of flights".
Yes I have. Because it was a legal requirement to board the plane. I have to obey the law. I campaigned to CHANGE the law.
No, of course it doesn't matter if the PM and his staff had drinks together in their offices or in the No10 garden.
But it DOES matter if they did it while at the same time they imposed laws banning the REST OF US from doing the exact same thing.
1/
And it DOES matter if the people who partied at No10 claimed that the lockdown laws they imposed on us were needed to save lives when they clearly didn't believe their own drinks gatherings would kill them or anyone else.
2/
And it DOES matter if the PM and his staff at No10 knowingly brought in the most illiberal and authoritarian laws ever imposed on 70 million Britons when they did not believe those lockdown restrictions were really necessary. Yet they did it anyway.
