1/X Can’t let #womenincrypto day go by without celebrating some of the amazing women in this space who inspire me. I hope you’ll add on to this post with some of the women in crypto who inspire you!
2/X To @hfangca@mandyzcamp at @Okcoin - it is such a thrill to advise a company with the ONLY FEMALE CEO of a global exchange. I can’t wait to go charging into 2022 on our shared mission of bringing more women into crypto #WomenInCrypto 🥂🥂🥂
3/X To @mai_on_chain of @CuriousAddys for helping me mint my first NFTs! I love my addy’s and I am so grateful for the time, attention, and love you spend making newcomers to crypto and NFTs feel welcome, seen & safe. You have been such a mentor & guide to me in this space! 🥂🥂
4/X To @Maliha_z_Art@WomenriseNFT for the way you embrace, uplift, and support women - and how you encourage all of us to dream bigger to create not just the world we want now, but the world we want to see decades from now. 🥂🥂🥂
5/X To @brit who literally does 500 jobs and all flawlessly, I am so honored to get to work with you @offlinevc and way more to come... And to @AllysonDowney@acav - I feel like we all entered this space and learned together and I am so psyched for @meta_angels 🥂🥂🥂
7/X To the female-focused crypto projects like @ShibGF created around a mission of giving back to organizations that support women in technology! Here here! 🥂🥂🥂
9/X To the educators like @natbrunell and her Bitcoin brilliance, @G_DAnderson who helps with female artist discovery, @Melt_Dem who is hands down my favorite SiriusXM guest and is just so badass and so many more women! 🥂🥂🥂🥂
When everyone around is rushing in, everywhere around is mania & FOMO, it can be easy to jump in w/o thinking. But I’ve found that unless you have a clear “why,” jumping into an area with a lot of noise can be challenging.
2/X There will always be people who will outwork you, outspend you, outsmart you. If you’re just here because it’s trendy/you think you should be, you’re in for some stormy seas. But if you have a clear “why,” you can outlast and outsuccess (sorry, not a word) anyone.
3/X Here’s a bit about my “why” for Web3, in case it helps you.
For the past 15+ years, I feel like I’ve been living a split life. One part of me, the techie, in Silicon Valley, on the front lines of social media. The other part, the artist, loving Broadway & theater.
