Men, we need to talk...

10 Habits That Will Change Your Life

1. A Morning Routine

Maybe you like to go for a run. Or, maybe you like to meditate or enjoy a healthy breakfast.

Whatever it is that makes you feel supercharged, kickstart your day with that habit. Establishing a meaningful morning ritual will pay dividends in your life.
2. The 80/20 Rule

This rule means that in any situation, 20% of the tasks yield 80% of the results.

Maximize productivity by investing most of your time and energy on those specific tasks that will create the biggest impact.

Balance leads to results.
3. Reading Daily

I use to hate reading.

Now I have the habit of reading for 30 minutes everyday.

Pick books that you truly enjoy reading instead of trying to read another self-help book to get ahead. You will form the habit than you can sneak those books into the rotation.
4. Stop Multitasking

Only 2% of the world can multi-task successfully.

If you continue to multi-task you will start to slowly lose relevant information and will perform at a lower rate.

Start knocking tasks out one at a time and watch how your production skyrockets.
5. Daily Gratitude

Practicing gratitude is a great way to create positivity, reduce stress and improve your physical health.

How can you cultivate this healthy habit?

Start a gratitude journal and remind yourself of at least one thing you're grateful for every day.
6. Examine Your Circle

You are the average of the five people you spend the most time with.

This is precisely why you should carefully consider who you're spending time with.

Let go of relationships that bring you down instead of lifting you up.
7. Exercise

Other than improving your physical health, working out regularly pumps up creativity and enhances your cognitive skills.

It's also an effective way to build endurance and get energized.

Get moving and start seeing how great you feel.
8. Become a Master Listener

If you are not a good listener, it's time to change.

Listening not only helps you be more productive but it tells other people that you are willing to make them a priority.
9. Social Media Detox

Put down your phone, turn off the computer, and start seeing the world around you.

Set time aside daily if you can to not be on social media. This will help with anxiety and lead to you being more present with the people in your life.

Trust me.
10. Invest in Self-Care

Taking steps to avoid overstimulation, shutdown, or meltdown isn't "selfish" or "childish."

These accommodations aren't luxuries or niceties. They are self-care. They're a means of surviving the chaotic, overstimulating world around us.

My mom died on a Friday, a week before I turned eight

That was the day I stopped being a child

10 Lessons I Learned From Losing a Parent

1. People want to relate, but can't.

The number of times I heard "I know what you are going through".

They don't.

They are just saying that to fill the silence. The truth is unless you have gone through it you don't know.

The best thing you can do for someone is be there.
2. People take parents for granted

I use to watch friends treat their moms like trash because they didn't get their way.

When people complain about their parents it makes me mad that they can't appreciate what they have.

Love your parents while you can.

Ladies, here's the truth...

The 8 Most Surprising Things Men Do Just To Impress You

// THREAD //
1. Insulting you

For some reason, guys will try to impress girls by behaving like complete jerks around them. Somehow, insulting a girl is supposed to make you feel more attracted to them.

This doesn’t work, obviously, but tell that to the guy at the bar.
2. Claim they’re a nice guy

Most girls quickly notice that guys who keep talking about how much girls hate them because of the fact that they’re nice guys aren’t usually nice at all.

Why do guys do this?

Idk, but feel free to block their number.

20 traits every father must have

1. Storytelling

We all forget most of what our fathers teach us, but we never forget a good story.

My dad wasn’t always the dad of the year but he instilled some amazing lessons in me through stories (one was about him burning down a bridge).

Stories can last generations.
2. Accountable

Fathers show up.

When it’s hard, easy, early, or late. They show up for their family, friends, wife, kids. This is something that should happen naturally as a father.

As a father, we should strive for our kids to know that they can always count on us.

20 life lessons a father must teach his daughter

1. The world will try to steal your joy

The world doesn’t like when a person is walking around with joy and happiness.

Be ready for trial, drama, and full attacks in your way of life. Meet them with grace and an attitude that you will persevere.

You create your own joy.
2. Your strength comes from above

There is only so far you can go on your own.

God has a plan for your life. There will be times where you search for meaning of life.

Remember this:

Your purpose is to show others the love of the Lord and honor him in all you do.

When I started Twitter I was LOST

Then I went through a mentor program and doubled my followers and now make $250 a week

Five lessons I learned

1. Make your own decisions

Free advice is everywhere on Twitter; Good and Bad

You have to do what works for you and build a system that leads to growth and engagement

Don't fall into the traps; Build and trust the Process
2. Make your profile different

When people visit your profile there should be a reason for them to stay.

Don't be another account that looks like 1000s of others and fades into the background

You have a story and are unique; show that in your banner, bio, and PFP
