Kenya power reports another outage
Teams from Kenya Power technical and Kenya Electricity Transmission Company (KETRACO) are Tuesday evening working to locate another fault that has developed with the 220Kv Suswa-Embakasi power transmission.
According to KPLC, the fault with the line which evacuates power to Athi River, Embakasi and City Center bulk substations has resulted in power outage affecting sections of Nairobi CBD, Embakasi, Kilimani, Hurlingham, Syokimau, Athi River, Kitengela, Mlolongo and adjacent areas.
Kenya power says they are working to rectify and restore supply as soon as possible. Earlier, a widespread power blackout Tuesday morning disrupted business in various parts of the country after the Kiambere-Rabai transmission line went off.

Bank of Baroda insider dealings, a worrying trend:

Despite being profitable, the Kenyan branch is facing liquidity issues and the country director, A Saravanakumar has resorted to unethical ways to shore up the banks dwindling balance sheet. THREAD
The arrogant foul mouth managing director has formed a criminal enterprise and roped in fellow directors Ravi Kant Pathak and Rameshchandra Chunilal Mehta to engage a looting spree from customers who have taken loans from the bank.
The axis of evil, known within the banking circles as the Three Maharaja Musketeers brag they are untouchable as they have the direct blessings of the banks Chairman Dr. Hasmukh Adhia and Shri Sanjiv Chadha, Managing Director & CEO.

WARUHIU Wa KUNG'U

In the late afternoon of October 9, 1952, colonial collaborating Senior Chief Waruhiu stepped into the backseat of his spotless Hudson sedan for what would become a most fateful journey.

The journey along winding, narrow roads would take them past the graceful pink stucco buildings and manicured grounds of the Muthaiga Club. Partway through the journey a gentle rain began to fall as the Hudson climbed the foothills, reflecting the vibrant green of the local coffe

A man had just walked into @FamilyBankKenya Donholm Branch, withdrew Sh1.1M from his bank account and walked out. Donholm branch and while on the road, he was later ambushed at the Cabanas bus termius, he was shot at by gunmen aboard a motorcycle and robbed.
To seal his tracks, the bank, the victim boarded a matatu to Taj Mall where he alighted and took a boda boda to Cabanas to do some transaction near Cabanas stage along Mombasa road.
This is likely an insider job where bank operatives collide with thugs and inform them of those making huge withdrawals and organize ambush. It’s also a likely case of the customers indulging withdrawals to confidants who organize with thugs in the robbery syndicate.
