It is hurting my heart what 4 of these #CaboCaucus / #CaboCrew ladies are doing to those who put in the work to elevate them to their roles.

I am talking about @jemelehill , @JoyAnnReid , @tiffanydcross & @sunny by name.
Folks put in work to make sure these folks were elevated, selected from a group of candidates or saved their careers.

We contacted our family members at their parent companies, sent letter en masse & flooded the phone lines to push for them.

Biden-Harris voters did that
Let's start with @JoyAnnReid , from the @TheReidReport , her weekend show & @thereidout , Biden-Harris voters, not Warren & Sanders voters did the work to publicly push for her.
Those shows don't happen if she doesn't get the scandal she faced resolved. When she was embroiled in a controversy related to homophobic blog posts, it was unnamed Black gay & lesbians behind the scenes that rapidly responded to thwart white queer Bernie & Warren supporters.
Instead of thanking those Black folks who had her back, she sold us out and never acknowledged us.

@JoyAnnReid karma has a name & spitting in our faces ain't it
As many know, my cousin is a producer at @espn , the groundswell to rightfully promote Michale & Jemele came from the D9 folks, HBCU grads, Southern Blacks & Biden-Harris supporters you somehow forgot.

When you went back and forth with Trump, we had your damn back.
We coordinated letters to 40 different magazines & 19 different media companies to create a space for you @jemelehill because that is what supporting a Black woman looks like.

Being moisturized in Cabo & ashy in the states isn't the win you think it is.

Where is the loyalty
The same effort for @jemelehill & @JoyAnnReid was done fro @tiffanydcross & @sunny to elevate them over a slew of candidates for their space as a national media host.

Warren loving, Bernie adoring, progressives, communists & socialists didn't do that...your MFing elders did.
Alicia, LaTosha, Britteny, Errin and Angela do not have a large national Black following.

The Biden-Harris voters who helped you in your careers did.

Stop savaging and ignoring the VO & keep Uncle Joe's name out of your mouths /finish
Also, the Kamala supporters that are going soft on her & backing these clowns plus Bakari's rat fuccing face are seeing massive drops in engagement because we see you slipping and sliding away from her.

If you built your platform on her and abandon her, please know we see you!
The devil is active. Disrespecting our Auntie Denise Oliver-Velez is also unacceptable. Ya'll would be cleaning the offices at ABC, NBC & ESPN,instead of being on-air talent, if women like her didn't put their lives on the line to uplift our communities.

@JoyAnnReid have all of you forgotten 1961 to 1965.

The civil rights groups pressured President Kennedy and their final visit in August 1963 he told them they didn't have the votes. /1
In December 1963, President Johnson told them the same but he can get it down but needs to win re-election in a blowoutS. He promised that First Lady Lady Bird Johnson & him would go to the South with them and make the case for the Civil Rights Act. /2
LBJ won in a blowout and delivered with an expanded House and Senate. The grave threat faced in the 50s & 60s is as great or greater than now. The challenge and work needed to be done was harder than...then today @JoyAnnReid /3

Average age, by race, in the US

59 for whites
28.5 for AAPI
27 for Black
26 for Native/Indigenous
11 for Latinos
3 for those that are mixed of two or more nonwhite races

~57.9 - 60% whites continuing to lose this number of people will have rapidly increased the number of them
I was working & watching TV. I bumbled the last part of the first tweet.

"~57.9 - 60% whites continuing to lose this number of people will have rapidly increased the number of them" should be "~57.9 - 60% of whites dying will rapidly decrease their overall percentage."

I am an optimist. I think the Biden-Harris administration has done an A+ job on getting what they can get passed to help turn this pandemic into an endemic. They have done a B- on what can be done but would likely result in defeat.
Let's start there. I made a huge difference between what they can do that is politically feasible and what they can do that would lead to Democrats getting wiped out in 2022 and 2024.

There is huge difference.
3 different global consortiums have done research on the most effective manners to counter COVID transmission.

Of the faux items that were 50+% effective. None are politically feasible. Most deal with the fact that most Americans do not trust the authorities in science.

David Simon had 2 TV series based in Baltimore that preceded Top 5 TV show of all time, The Wire.

What was the name of the 2 series?
Who was the first American Idol winner whose debut single did not debut at #1?
What TV show had the controversial first interracial kiss and what year did it happen?

The Lenard moment would not happen on Black political talk shows because few people watch those shows.

He has a bigger audience than those shows.

The Terrell Show has a bigger audience than those shows.

Stove Top Kisses has a larger audience than them.
You do not reach Black audiences by doing national Black shows on formats that are not widely available.

Sirius XM requires a subscription, which Is a barrier to reaching a large audience. Most radio listening is restricted to car travel - another barrier.
Shows that are even 50% driven by politics are a barrier to most Black audiences. The Sunday shows & cable news have horrible ratings.

You folks keep wanting Kamala to do media that will not be watched but ignore the media she does that is watched.
