Google Dorking For Beginners. (A Thread)

A lot of people have a basic understanding of how to use Google to find relevant information. But did you know that the right combination of switches and keywords in your search could yield outstanding results?

Let's go! 👇🏽
💎 Basic Keywords and Switches:
1. - ➡️ The negate switch removes the word specified from your search results.
Eg: 🌐 html tutorial -w3cschools

2. site ➡️ this keyword allows you to limit the results to a specific site.
Eg: 🌐 Jack Ma 👇🏽
3. inurl ➡️ checks whether a specified keyword exists in the URL results.
Eg: 🌐 Company name inurl:about

4. "" ➡️ Quotes are used to search for that specific word or phrase within the quotes.
Eg: 🌐 someone with rumors of death "deceased"
5. Filetype ➡️ is used to specify a specific file type to be included in the results.
Eg: 🌐 defining decade filetype:pdf

6. intext ➡️ is used to find specified text within the search results' page.
Eg: 🌐 list of healthy foods intext:"almond"

7. * ➡️ Used to specify a wildcard. Any length of characters. Often useful when combined with other keywords / commands.
Eg: 🌐 "ministry of" site:*.gov

8. + ➡️ Used to add key search words together.
Eg: 🌐 "hacking" + "SQL injection"

Ready for the amazing combos? Let's go!
🔥 You can find solutions to errors you're facing on your computer by being a tad bit more specific.

Eg: 🌐 python "unexpected indent"

Eg: 🌐 windows "insert_error_code_here" intext:solved

Eg: 🌐 "manjaro" + "dual boot" black screen inurl:forum
🔥 You can find freely available books and materials much faster with the help of Google dorks.

Eg: 🌐 "python" + "data structures" filetype:pdf

Eg: 🌐 "chess openings" inurl:lesson -youtube

Eg: 🌐 "web dev guide"
🔥 Google dorks can also be used to jump directly to specific pages on a website or find very specific pages online.

Eg: Rather than first open a site then go to its downloads page, we could search:
🌐 inurl:downloads

If we don't know what site,
We could use:
🌐 "2021" + "movies" + "download" inurl:.mp4

Another Eg: we want to search directly in a website:
🌐 "Machine learning"
🌐 "Sammy Kamkar"
Google Dorking can also be used to find targets when hunting for bugs or for recon during pentests.

Use your Google Dorking knowledge to learn more about the intitle and cache keywords.

I hope this was informative. Please share more info in the comments!
