In the afternoon, the actual Agong (Kelantan) of the day woke up and resumed his duties from his Deputy (Perak Sultan) who was in-charge for the night. Apparently, he planned to postpone the swearing-in ceremony for few days it seems, according to Romen Bose.
The matter only came to an end when Chief Secretary (Ali Hamsa), IGP (Fuzi Harun) and Army Chief (Tan Sri Raja Mohamed Affandi Raja Mohamed Noor), according to Romen Bose.
In the run up to the elections, the Malaysian Military was one of the strongest stabilising force, they even openly called for impartiality in voting. Very immensely thankful to their patriotism and respect for democracy.
