however, i shall continue with learning basic linux & doing 'home projects' on a raspberry pi, and doing what look like very weird things with regards to this unfolding way thing
this is because you have to accept that to unfold the future, you must start right where you are at
i wish i started right where i was 25 yrs ago, and was v. close to doing so & achieving financial independence at the start of the internet age
i'd no idea how personally transformational that could have been
those lessons & convictions are inherent to how i choose to live now
what i'm saying is i was hitting on stuff just out of the purity of the activity i was doing in my 20s
just from being engaged in community, both online & the then-emerging online, + building stuff with & for those communities
just out of pure curiousity of the new internet age
it is this spirit of curiousity through which all will be discovered
happy serendipitous accidents resulting from our innate drive towards self-organisation
the sensing that something new and real is possible
new senses emerging, through which we co-ordinate & create
i recognise i was always my best self in that place of curiousity
that we were indeed developing these brand new senses
that this is what it is all about!
this is what technology is for
this is what life is for
to sense the changing air
to be there
to have made it
together
so once again, the thing is not the thing
it's not the specific technology which matters
it's not this crypto or that DAO
it's the building of new technological senses, and the simultaneous re-discovery of our most primal organic ones
the perfect marriage
the sweetest romance
when technology is deeply human, new harmony is created, & the world is a more beautiful place again
i wish this as a home for this kind of spirit, beauty & harmony
at least within me, and to any i invite or who come along to join me
your self and your spirit are very welcome
something you should know about this particular road:
every tweet is an experiment, and always will be

this is my problem with identity
identity feels too much like a done
it's taken as an unchanging thing
that, to me, feels like a prison
and not a wide open field
not a brand new thing
to be held in wonder
we would normally acknowledge changes and growth in our identity through the association of new roles
but with the internet and the possibilities of what we can create, the reliance on roles to perform this function feels like an old world method of identity change
what's possible with our online environments is a much greater fluidity of identity, through experimentation and anonymisation
this seems a playful way to hold, alter and to destroy identity
