Do you struggle with some of the things President Oaks says and/or how he says them?
Please continue reading, this thread is for you. ♥️
Yesterday marked four years with Russell M. Nelson as the Lord's Prophet and President of His Church on the Earth.
President Nelson is 97 years old, and may soon become the oldest living Prophet to date. 👀
His life coming to a close and another Apostle taking his place is an eventual reality.
Furthermore, it is most likely that the next Prophet and President will be Dallin H. Oaks.
This potential transition could come soon, or we could be blessed with President Nelson for another four years, but the point is that this transition is likely.
If you currently struggle with things President Oaks says or how he says them, I invite you to consider why that is.
Are you sympathetic to worldly influences? Do you feel more passionately about secular causes than building the Kingdom of God? Are you convinced that the rest of the brethren don't agree with President Oaks?
Whatever your concerns, now is the time to resolve them.
Now is the time to humbly take them to the Lord, to pray, to fast, to study the word of God, and to move past those feelings.
If the day comes that Dallin H. Oaks becomes the Prophet and President of the #ChurchofJesusChrist, you deserve to be able to sustain him.
Prepare now.

Perhaps some innocently, or at least ignorantly, don't see any harm in listening to those who question the Prophet and Apostles, or who declare as truth principles that directly contradict modern day revelation.
Here's a warning we received in 1999 from Elder Ballard: 🧵
"As Apostles of the Lord Jesus Christ, it is our duty to be watchmen on the tower, warning Church members to beware of false prophets and false teachers who lie in wait to ensnare and destroy faith and testimony.
"Today we warn you that there are false prophets and false teachers arising; and if we are not careful, even those who are among the faithful members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will fall victim to their deception."
-Elder M. Russell Ballard
