To be clear, everyone wants kids in school. One of the reasons Oklahoma has a tougher time than most in making that happen is b/c we have a governor who has made Oklahoma a sanctuary state for COVID. During a pandemic he has gone to war with school boards, 1/
superintendents and hell even the US Dept. of Defense as they have taken action to slow the spread and eventually beat the virus. I do appreciate the governor offering up some “solution” but it will never be lost on me that it is simply window dressing. 2/
This is yet the latest example of governing by polls and not with logic, science or even the engagement of the folks most proximate to the situation. 3/3
