"Election Integrity is never something you're done with." @ChuckDevore
@TPPF Election Protection panel with @TXsecofstate John Scott, @PILFoundation Pres. Christian Adams (@ElectionLawCtr), @Heritage election law expert @HvonSpakovsky. #PO2022
.@ElectionLawCtr said one of the biggest stories of 2020 was private funding of election offices. Millions, mostly from social media mogul Zuckerberg, disproportionally boosted Democrat turnout.
Scott says he worries distrust in the integrity of elections will discourage Texans from voting, hopes the 2020 election audit helps restore voters' confidence in the process.
Attorney @TweetTonyMac asked visiting Judge Pruitt to dismiss @FrazierForTexas’ defamation suit against @DrPaulChabot under the TCPA, arguing elected officials are subject to public criticism and Chabot’s statements about Frazier are protected by the First Amendment. #TXLege
Attorney Chris Kratochvil argued that @DrPaulChabot’s statements about @FrazierForTexas being “convicted” of crimes and “dishonorably discharged” from Dallas PD were “once true” but “things changed.”
“All he had to do was shut up” after a plea bargain changed Frazier’s legal status, Kratochvil told the judge.
Visiting Judge Jim Pruitt now has 30 days to rule whether to dismiss the suit against @DrPaulChabot under the TCPA or allow it to proceed if he believes @FrazierForTexas made a prima facie case for his defamation claims.
Chabot was in court today.
Frazier was not.

Adams wrote about the many criminal statutes that penalize foreigners registering and voting in the U.S.
"Are aliens voting? For sure, and it needs to be fixed."
From a full Denton County courtroom to a packed @DentonRWC candidate forum… LOTS of local interest in Republican primary politics here in North Texas. #TXLege #SD30
“You need qualifications for this court.”

Schenck noted Keller, age 70, can’t serve the full 6-year term.
All four #SD30 candidates are at the @DentonRWC forum:
