The trucker and his adult adoptee part three: I told you this summer of the long interview I had with an Ohio man planning to adopt a pregnant 18 year old from Greece and how he was going to be on a tv show. I’ve driven a lot of people, and I’ve heard a lot of things, but my
conversation with this man was absolutely chilling. I wanted to call the FBI or INS(or whoever) and say do not let this girl come to America in the next two weeks. She’s in danger. I told you how his wife wasn’t on board(rightfully so) and how while on the phone with her in my
car he told her, don’t worry she’ll be locked in the basement and will have to earn her keep. His wife was worried he wanted a sexual relationship with this young woman(he did, I asked he confirmed) so she didn’t want the girl in their house. After that ride, and after my thread
on I continued to be worried about all the alarming(and illegal) intentions this trucker had with this young woman he was in the process of adopting from Greece. Over the fall I did my best to keep tabs on the situation even checking to see if the tv slow had come
out. There’s some good and some bad news. The bad is that the tv show will air soon and the adoption(or at least temp visa) went through and she same to America. The better news is than even the truckers coworker’s wives and his cousin up the road were also concerned. The trucker
wives told them to no longer associate with their coworker and they complied. From what I understand, trucker’s wife would not allow the young women and her newborn baby to live in the house. So the trucker put her in a camper on the property. And as the fall turned to winter the
girl and her baby were cold. So the concerned cousin invited the girl to come live with them. Not surprisingly, once the young lady(illeana) was no longer reliant on the trucker for food and shit shelter, she started to distance herself. The trucker(Danny) was not happy and
told her if HIS needs weren’t being met then she would need to reimburse him for all his costs. Um, you adopted her and you are responsible for HER needs. Not the other way around. It sounds like she’s out of there now which has given me a great deal of rest on the
matter. Now to the tv show.... how did it get past their legal? From watching the trailers it’s very apparent that it wasn’t just in the privacy of the BBR where he revealed his true intentions and said chilling things. I’ll link to some of the videos so you can see for yourself.

Here’s the link to my original thread. I apologize for typos in it:
The good news for my truckers is that this trucker got fired this fall after he threw a couple of new 250k semis and totaled them. And because he admitted to(fault)not checking the u bolts on the load during his pre trip the union won’t give him his job back.

I have complaints about this property but not the ones Jacob mentions.

First I’ve never paid a resort fee, and their spa and pool(and pool side gaming) is top tier.

But you’ll starve after 10pm, and don’t order room service because it won’t be edible(late night) and
is super expensive. So just roll over to Palace Station for a late night pan roast at the 24 hour Oyster Bar and play your favorite games at much better odds than the strip.

The poor leadership is starting to show at FB even if the property has gotten much busier. Right hand
doesn’t talk to the left hand and employees no longer take ownership and behave like owners costing the casino money and turning away players. Example? For several days straight the jackpot lights weren’t working with the chips causing mins long delays between hands and not a

GM Dealer Adventures: as my wait for an engine goes into its fourth week, I’ve been evaluating emergency options. Here are some observations.

1. Deny. Deny. Deny. Only one sales guy was straight up and real with me on the engine problems. If I buy a second vehicle it will be
from him. Funny enough one vehicle at his dealership I had a purchase agreement for, got snatched up by a colleague who would not have known I was also looking at it. But it matched the specs we’d look for and was priced right.
One dealership claiming that they don’t know ANYTHING about the engine issues and told me how customers LOVE them? Turns out they have several NEW trucks at their dealership waiting on engines hahaha.

Advice to dealers. Customers aren’t going to blame you for these problems.

🧵 @GM’s Big Engine Problem
@mtbarra @amyklobuchar @TinaSmithMN @keithellison @StarTribune @WSJ @PioneerPress

GM’s 5.3,6, and 6.2 engines are failing in mass across the country. Causing hardship for small businesses and retail customers.

In some cases, barely off dealer lots.
In recent weeks the crisis has begun to snowball.

Mid year I started noticing posts in industry groups about operators having engines going out in their SUVs. And how they were struggling to get them replaced. And if they were still under warranty? They’d sit at the dealer for
months on end. Or if they were already out of warranty? Operators were finding they were on backorder with no eta.

I was reading this in horror for fear it would happen to me. I have 7 IO’s who drive for me, but I only own one limo licensed GM SUV. Which is currently

Story:

A couple of years ago in the midst of the post pandemic revenge travel period, we had a very busy morning. All cars booked 3am-7am with my last run of the early morning rush being a double car seat order in Fridley.

On the way to the airport there’s this number Image
blowing up my phone and it seems familiar.

I get to the airport, unload the family, then check voicemail. Sometimes voicemails can delay appearing on my phone but thankfully not this time.

The woman on my voicemail is sobbing and accusing me of taking advantage of an elderly
person and clearly was expecting us to be there at 7am to take her to the airport. I double and triple check the calendar and search her phone number. This woman doesn’t even have profile in our system let alone a reservation. But I call her and tell her while I don’t have a

The day after the attempted assignation of Donald Trump I started to notice really erratic behavior in Minnesotans.

I should say that for the most part Minnesotans as a people are quite predictable, and that in my 15 years of dealing with them in this capacity, I haven’t really
seen behavior this odd.

Everyone seemed almost panicky and it was really showing in their behavior with money. And in the time leading up to Biden dropping out it continued to get worse. At times it almost felt like some economic collapse was imminent based on how people were
behaving. I’ve often joked that my income can change instantly based on how the wind blows. It really felt like a sudden wind change. A chauffeur who is very observant in different ways than myself, observed he’d heard more honking in that two week period than he’d ever

I have some added developments regarding the predator that I posted about recently.

Back around the time that looked into him because of suspicions of predatory behavior, he won a bunch of money on a special side bet on a baccarat game. This would have been late April/early May
Depending on which player you speak with some say he hit this special side bet for big money several times over two days. Possibly winning 20-30k. The amount doesn’t matter other than it’s important to understand he was flush with cash.

During this same time period he took
three underage boys on a trip to Puerto Rico and hired a competitor of mine to drive him to North Dakota. Before both the airport trip and after the ND trip I told my competitor to be careful. Mostly, make sure he got paid as he’s a scammer. The competitor reported that he was
