As I said, I think so little of this so-called fandom that people pulling stunts like this, involving an actual INFANT, does not surprise me.
I felt disgusted, but I was not surprised, because any fandom that prided itself on "black oceans" is inherently scum.
If you don't know what that is, it's when a crowd turns off their light sticks so that when a group or artist performs, they look out on a sea of darkness.
It is hurtful and demoralizing and entirely on purpose.
THAT is their legacy: toxicity and harm.
I can only say that it's rather sad and pathetic that EXO's fandom squandered any potential possibility of saving that group on an obsessive, one-sided rivalry with ARMY.
Has lying on and harassing ARMY elevated EXO? Did it make them world-famous? Hmm?
I'll be blunt, and you can expand this to the rest of the hateful antis swearing they stan a group but using all of their energy to constantly be up in ARMY's faces and business:
Your faves are forgettable forgotten flops and it's entirely your fault.
BTS didn't even exist as a GROUP when many of y'all were flopping. The only reason K-pop even had a second chance in the US was because of BTS and the fact that America forgot the first failed attempt.
BTW, K-pop fans are entirely responsible for that first failed wave.
Y'all don't have the energy to support K-pop. Y'all were too embarrassed and ashamed, and you watched this genre y'all claimed to "love" limp out of the West in defeat, only to try to preach to ARMY, the fandom y'all hate, about not bothering to do anything for BTS.
You hate BTS and ARMY for exposing how rotten and lousy you are as fans because had you bothered to promote and buy for these "favorite K-pop groups" with the same vigor you plot your projects to break wings and demoralize ARMY, they would have SUCCEEDED!
It is twenty-twenty-two and the Grammys ain't shit and Billboard isn't either but BTS is a Grammy-nominated group, voting members of the Academy, diplomats who've spoken at the UN multiple times, and they are collecting #1 albums and songs like Pokémon cards.
AND ARE YOUR FAVES?
THE ENTIRETY of BTS are spokesmen for the biggest fashion house in the world and have been sought out and chased by practically every major blue chip brand in the world.
WHERE ARE YOUR FAVES?!
Any BTS member can breathe in the direction of a product and it will sell out. They breathe in the direction of a failing business and it is restored overnight. They are so damn successful, they're practically a major corporation BY. THEM. SELVES.
YOUR FAVES?!
What could these people have, how far along would they be in life and their careers if their "fandoms" weren't made up of pathetic, pudding-brained monsters who think cartoon villainy and lies (rather than reaching into a fucking wallet once in a while) are how groups survive.
BTS is a legendary group and they haven't even hit their PRIME. Their contribution to music history, their elevation of their nation through socio-economic impact, the way they make their people proud isn't something you can erase by creating fake Twitter accounts to attack ARMY.
And I'm not talking about this most recent incident. Many of us have watched hateful antis flood ARMY Twitter since late 2017, early 2018, creating fake accounts to pretend to be us to cause confusion, hurt, and disarray.
All that energy wasted while your faves careers ROT.
Back to the Ls: There is no fandom rivalry.
There is no rivalry.
There is just you with your bitterness, desperation, and anger at having failed to stop ARMY and BTS rising.
You feel it strongly, which is why you want to "reignite" ARMY's interest in your archaic existence.
Y'all were too proud to raise your faves up with hard work, creativity, and love, but you weren't too proud to rake the crumbs off our table and ride our coattails.
When they vanish from your lives, possibly very soon, will it have been worth it?
Do not answer; I don't care. 🍵

The "secret" weapon to ARMY is something that may or may not seem obvious depending on how long you've been with the fandom and, most importantly, how much you actively paid attention to the NATURE of our fandom evolution over the years.
MOUTHFUL INCOMING! Breaking Down The Delusion Causing Certain Companies & Fans To Overestimate Their Ability To Match BTS & ARMY's Past & Current Successes
(An Impromptu Thread)
INTRODUCTION
I didn't expect to do a deep dive into the media play fraudulence, annoying entitlement, and plain old delusion causing people to vastly overestimate their chances of replicating what BTS and ARMY worked together to achieve.
Yet, here I am.
I would have addressed it sooner, but I was on a break. 🤷🏾♀️
Now that I'm back, I have a few thoughts/theories as to why there is this wave of delulu washing up on our shores, and why it will likely not morph into anything meaningful any time soon.
I find it funny that some people think you can be “too old” to stan BTS, a group that references Jungian Psychology, sociopolitical issues such as class warfare, and non-linear time.
Ageist gatekeeping of BTS is tacky. Go have a seat. 💺
#BTSARMY Weapons: Beating An Industry At Its Own Game, Part I
(BY THREAD POLL)
QUICK DISCLAIMER
I don't know what the Twitter algorithm would think of my original title so I tweaked it a little. 🤷🏾♀️
Okay, back to the thread!

When we say we're the music industry, I think we're half-joking.
I mean, I can't think of any OTHER fandom that has kept their foot pressed so tightly to the industry's throat, that Billy Board bothered our faves under the pretense of a cover story to cry about it.
At the Intersection of Racism and Misogyny Sits a Paralyzing Fear of BTS - Here's Why
[By Thread Poll Request]
INTRODUCTION
BTS has long since transcended their music superstar status. They’re not just very talented and hardworking artists, but they also encourage and inspire an entire generation, and that power cannot be taken for granted.
BTS wield an immense amount of public influence while also representing a massive generational shift in how young men are expected to behave towards each other and how male celebrities in their position view and treat their female fans.
