Julian Assange has been caught up in an anti-Semitism row after allegedly accusing a group of journalists of a 'Jewish conspiracy' against his website WikiLeaks.

dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1…
In Private Eye magazine, editor Ian Hislop wrote that Assange called him to complain about a previous piece on WikiLeaks contributor Israel Shamir.

Shamir is a Siberian-born Holocaust denier, was called 'a rabid anti-Semite' by Stephen Pollard, editor of The Jewish Chronicle

Israel Shamir, WikiLeaks's spokesperson and conduit in Russia has been exposed in the Swedish media as an anti-semite and Holocaust denier;

theguardian.com/commentisfree/…
his son Johannes Wahlström, represents Wikileaks in Sweden & hands out stories to selected papers, has been involved in a scandal where a story he wrote about the supposed Israeli control of Swedish media was withdrawn after several of the people complained of being misquoted
Shamir co-authored a story in Counterpunch, which suggested that the woman who brought a complaint of rape against Julian Assange was a CIA plant

His latest book, in Russian, is called is called How to Break the Conspiracy of the Elders of Zion.

web.archive.org/web/2010100523…
He also denied that he had any special connection with WikiLeaks, though the group's spokesman, Kristinn Hrafnsson, confirmed that he was their representative in Russia, just as his son is in Scandinavia.
Expressen also published a photograph of him standing behind Julian Assange at a computer, published in the Russian paper, which has been reprinting the WikiLeaks cables he passed to them.
Given the tight if murky links between the Russian security apparatus and the quasi-fascist Nationalist movement with which Shamir is associated there, it has worrying implications for the security of anyone named in the cables.

The Ukrainian Pendulum
By Israel Shamir

The stakes are high in the Ukraine: after the coup, as Crimea and Donbas asserted their right to self determination, American and Russian troops entered Ukrainian territory, both under cover.

web.archive.org/web/2015031905…
The Russian soldiers ostensibly belong to the Russian Fleet, legally stationed in Crimea. They were in Crimea before the coup, in accordance with the Russian-Ukrainian treaty (like the US 5th fleet in Kuwait), but their presence was probably beefed up.
Additional Russian troops were invited in by deposed but legitimately elected President Yanukovych (compare this with the US landing on Haiti in support of the deposed President Aristide ).
They help the local pro-Russian militia maintain order, and no one gets killed in the process. In addition, Russia brought its troops on alert and returned a few warships to the Black Sea.
The oligarchs who financed the Maidan operation divided the spoils: the most generous supporter, multi-billionaire Igor “Benya” Kolomoysky, received the great Russian-speaking city of Dnepropetrovsk in fief.
He was not required to give up his Israeli passport. His brethren oligarchs took other Russian-speaking industrial cities, including Kharkov and Donetsk.
Kolomoysky is not just an ‘oligarch of Jewish origin’: he is an active member of the Jewish community, a supporter of Israel and a donor of many synagogues, one of them the biggest in Europe.
He had no problem supporting the neo-Nazis, even those whose entry to the US had been banned because of their declared antisemitism. That is why the appeals to Jewish consciousness against the Brown putsch demonstrably failed.
The instructions of US State Dept's Victoria Nuland were followed through: the Ukraine had had the govt she prescribed in the famous phone conversation w/ the US Ambassador.
Russia was not involved in Ukrainian developments: Putin did not want to be accused of meddling in Ukrainian internal affairs, even when the US and EU envoys assisted and directed the rebels.
The people of Russia would applaud him if he were to send his tanks to Kiev to regain the whole of Ukraine, as they consider it an integral part of Russia. But Putin is not a Russian nationalist, not a man of Imperial designs.
Though he would like the Ukraine to be friendly to Russia, annexing it, in whole or in part, has never been his ambition. It would be too expensive even for wealthy Russia: the average income in the Ukraine is just half of the Russian one, and tits infrastructure is in a shambles
It would not be easy, either, for every Ukrainian government in the past twenty years has drenched the people with anti-Russian sentiment. But involvement was forced upon Putin
As Crimea defied orders from Kiev, it became a beacon for other regions of the Ukraine. Donbas, the coal and steel region, raised Russian banners and declared its desire for self-determination, “like Crimea”.
They do want to join a Russian-led Customs Union; it is not clear whether they would prefer independence, autonomy or something else, but they, too, scheduled a poll – for March 30.
There were big demonstrations against the Kiev regime in Odessa, Dnepropetrovsk, Kharkov and other Russian-speaking cities. Practically everywhere, the deputies seek accommodation w/ Kiev and look for a way to make some profit, but the people are furious & do not accept the junta
The junta appointed an oligarch to rule Donbas, Sergey Taruta, but he had difficulty assuming power as the local people did not want him, and with good reason: Taruta had bought the major Polish port of Gdansk and brought it to bankruptcy.
Ominously, Mr Taruta brought with him some unidentified, heavily armed security personnel, reportedly guns-for-hire from Blackwater (a.k.a. Academi) fresh from Iraq and Afghanistan. He will need a lot more of them if he wants to take Donbas by force.
In Kharkov, erstwhile capital of Soviet Ukraine, local people ejected the raiding force of the Right Sector from govt offices, but police joined w/ the oligarchs. The fake revolution took place in Kiev under the tutelage of US & EC envoys, the real revolution is taking place now
Putin asked the upper house of the Russian parliament for permission to deploy Russian troops if needed, and the parliament unanimously approved his request. They will probably be deployed in order to defend the workers in case of attack by a Right Sector beefed up by Blackwater
Humanitarian catastrophe, large-scale disturbances, the flow of refugees or the arrival of NATO troops could also force Putin’s hand, even against his will.
But the majority of casualties were victims of sniper fire, also blamed on Yanukovych. The Kiev regime even asked the Hague tribunal to indict the President as they had President Milosevic.
But now, a telephone conversation between EC representative Catherine Ashton and Estonian Foreign Minister Urmas Paet reveals that the EC emissaries were aware that dozens of victims of sniper fire at the Maidan were killed by Maidan rebel supporters

Urmas Paet acknowledged the veracity of this conversation at a press conference, and called for an independent enquiry. It turned out that the rebel snipers shot and killed policemen and Maidan protesters alike, in order to shed blood and blame it on the President.
This appears to be a staple feature of the US-arranged revolutions. Snipers killing both protesters and police were reported in Moscow's 1991 and 1993 revolutions, as well as in many other cases.

Johannes Wahlström is currently at the centre of our media world. It is he who has channelled Julian Assange's WikiLeaks reveals to the press and Swedish Television.

[Translated from Swedish]

web.archive.org/web/2010121318…
On Wednesday, a Russian-Swedish journalist conference ended in Moscow, which for two days discussed xenophobia in the mass media and a free press. It is part of a project supported by the Svenska institutet, with Wahlström in a central position.
It all revolves around the possibilities – in Sweden as in Russia – for "critical publicity". In November, Wahlström also conducted his own critical review in two sections on Aftonbladet's culture page.
It is his own father who follows him as a shadow – and who also has close relationships with Assange. His father is one of the world's most notorious anti-Semites. He has performed under at least six different names.
Growing up in Novosibirsk, he was called Izrail Schmerler. As a Jew, he went to Israel in 1969.

In 1984 he came to Sweden as Israel Shamir

He became a Swedish citizen in 1992

From 2001 to 2005 he called himself Jöran Jermas, then transformed himself into Adam Ermash
Internationally, he is still Israel Shamir. He has had a variety of addresses in the world, mostly in Israel and Russia. In the early 2000s, he adopted the Orthodox faith.
He appears in the Russian "maroon" weekly Zavtra, at once nationalist, Stalinist & militant anti-Jewish. He uses an old-Soviet left jargon here while declaring, and proving, he is prepared to cooperate with any right-wing extremist, for the sake of the good anti-Jewish cause
He appeared at the Holocaust Denial Conference in Tehran in 2006, w/ KKK's David Duke, who wrote a foreword to his article about "Jewish ritual murders." Interviewed by Mohamed Omar, he made it clear it is the duty of "every Muslim and Christian" to break the gas chamber myth
If you now put Wahlström's latest articles next to Shamirs, you are struck by their resonations. Julian Assange is the hero of both. Wahlström published a wide-ranging interview with him in Aftonbladet last spring. Shamir then highlighted Assange's actions in Zavtra in September.
Shamir and Wahlström both have contacts with the Russian weekly Russky reportior, whose editor-in-chief was specifically invited to the Moscow conference. Behind the main content of its new issue – a number of WikiLeaks reveals – is Shamir.
In a comment, jointly signed by the editor-in-chief and Shamir entitled "How the world should be blown up by WikiLeaks", they explain Shamir has exclusive access to Assange's documentation – in the same way as the son in Sweden, & include a picture of Shamir with Assange
This prompted one of Russia's bravest journalists, Juliya Latynina, based in Anna Politkovskaya's Novaya Gazeta, to go out on the radio channel Echo Moskvy with the question: What does it mean that Assange allows himself to be represented by an extremist?
She told me that Shamir also offered his material to the newspaper Kommersant but was met with a cold hand, because they do not touch him with pliers.
Her conclusion was that it is a shame that the WikiLeaks documents in other countries are analyzed by experienced journalists but in Russia by a totally incompetent and lying Jew-hater.
It seems that there is a refined interaction between father and son, in partnership with Assange. It is difficult to free oneself from the suspicion that Johannes Wahlström is simply the more civilized – and currently very successful – mouthpiece of the amoky – Shamir.
He is deep inside the Swedish press and television, he is supported by our official authorities – and surrounded by his father's applause. A closer examination of his political role is necessary.

Anatoly A. Sobchak, a former mayor of St. Petersburg and a mentor to Putin, died of a heart attack 15 years ago while on a trip to Kaliningrad.

businessinsider.com/the-mysterious…
He talked too much, just as Putin was dictating his new official life story to the 3 journalists, Sobchak was reminiscing, in response to questions asked by other journalists, & recounting key episodes of Putin’s career in ways that contradicted the story told by his old protégé.
Sobchak's two bodyguard-assistants, both physically fit young men, had had to be treated for mild symptoms of poisoning following Sobchak's death. This was a hallmark of contract killings by poisoning: many a bodyguard had fallen similarly ill when their bosses were killed

Satabank has been slapped with a record €3M fine for widespread breaches of money laundering laws.

timesofmalta.com/articles/view/…
The bank has been on regulators’ radar ever since a joint inspection by the Malta Financial Services Authority (MFSA) and FIAU last year found extremely weak structures in place to prevent its clients from using it to launder potential proceeds of criminal activity.
This led regulators to come down hard on the bank, freezing all its funds and appointing EY to administer its assets. Police and financial regulators have since been inspecting transactions w/ potential links to fuel smuggling, drug trafficking and trade with sanctioned countries
