This is infuriating. One rule for us, another for the posh lads who just *happened* to be in the pilot scheme.

I’ve already seen people saying they’ve deleting the app so they don’t get pinged, and this is only going to make that higher/make them feel justified in doing so.
I’m pissed off like you but please use the app. As a fully vaxxed but still clinically vulnerable person, it makes me feel so much better checking in and knowing that I haven’t been pinged. But if others aren’t doing it/don’t have contact tracing on, it quickly becomes pointless.
Like, the good thing is deaths are down because of vaccines, but that doesn’t mean it’s gone, or that COVID doesn’t knock you flat on your arse, or that you won’t be left with long term health issues. Or that you won’t give it to someone else who won’t be fine.
