1/ 2.5 yrs ago I visited @stripe’s library (TY, @pioneerdotapp!).

I walked away with more books than I could carry (TY, @sashadem!) and an instant love for @stripepress—so it’s a bit surreal to announce today that I’m switching gears @stripe to become its commissioning editor.

2/ Stripe Press’s mission was a core reason why I joined Stripe. *Ideas* are the seeds of great companies and great institutions, and excellent ones should be widely available—particularly to high-agency, fiercely curious individuals around the world.

3/ But I’m not alone!

Two of the sharpest women I know, @mollyfmielke and @salonium, will be joining me at @stripepress as contributing editors.

4/ Molly is the creator of @mothminds and a magical designer/writer. She’ll be focused on sourcing books about technology.

Saloni is a PhD student at King’s College London and the University of Hong Kong, and founding editor @WorksInProgMag. She’ll source books about science.

5/ And the wonderful @rebeccahiscott will be stepping up as managing editor to bring her editing wizardry to the Press. We’re also gearing up to sell our books internationally (at last! 😅)

6/ We’ve got a full slate of books for you this year and beyond.

Can’t wait to publish @chughesjohnson, @ByrneHobart and @TobiasAHuber, and @alexstamos—and to (re)publish Vannevar Bush, with a foreword by the excellent @Ben_Reinhardt.

7/ We’re also working on a few new things *beyond* books, too (cc: @typochondriac, @tyler_thompson, @whitneychn).

8/ If you have story ideas, we’d love to hear from you.
