‘Why has my unfurling the national flag fluttered and quivered some’ is what is refusing to leave my mind since yesterday. Had this been a precedence set by a “tight ass moralist chief executive” in the past, I wouldn’t have been required to do it at all. 1/n
I would may be have been paying my respect to the flag from the down the road at the most. On the contrary what we witnessed in the past is the ‘mainstream politicians assuming the role of secessionists ‘Stepney Tyre’ making sure that the vehicle of insurgency plies smoothly’.
All this while, the former indulging in an ‘avoidable appeasement’ of the latter and therefore shaping up an ‘amphibious political order’ for us the younger generation to inherit.
I’m unapologetic and thankful enough that I did it and did it with sheer pride.

Thank God, there wasn’t an ‘Ahad Jan’ to hurl a shoe at me while doing this and who I would have to push into a tacit persecution and death of oblivion, while lying through my teeth with cheap optics. 4/4
