@Sen_GregTaylor SB 231 would have legalized medical cannabis, giving Hoosiers another medical option to treat their pain. SB 234 would have helped out Hoosier families by providing them with a Child Tax Credit. The federal CTC payment, which halved child poverty, ended on Dec 15.
@SenEddieMelton SB 323 would have raised the minimum wage immediately to $12 and increased it by $1 until 2026. SB 319 would have created a task force to study pharmacy deserts in Indiana and come up with recommendations to make sure pharmacies were accessible to all Hoosiers.
@SenatorJDFord SB 72 would have added a renter’s dedication for disabled veterans. SB 175 would have legalized medical cannabis. This would have provided thousands of Hoosiers with PTSD, epilepsy and other conditions the option to use medical cannabis.
@SenatorYoder SB 314 would have restored net metering benefits set to expire this summer, protecting Hoosiers’ energy independence. SB 385 would have protected Hoosier renters by prohibiting disclosure of past overturned or unpursued evictions on applications.
@SenJeanBreaux SB 333 would’ve provided a 13th check for retired teachers and retired state employees to help them offset rising costs. SB 335 would have eliminated school textbook fees for our K-12 students.
@TimLanane SB 128 would have protected LGBTQ+ Hoosiers and veterans from discrimination. SB 127 aimed to study how green and low carbon industries would benefit Indiana’s economy and citizens.
@SenNiezgodski SB 138 would have allowed undocumented immigrants who grew up in Indiana to qualify for our in-state college tuition rates. SB 413 aimed to expand access and ease of treatment for mental illness.
@SenRodneyPol SB 196 would have protected Hoosier's right to privacy by requiring the BMV to receive consent to sell any personal data. SB 199 aimed to increase workers' compensation so that Hoosiers would be fully able to provide for their families if they get hurt on the job.
@SenFadyQaddoura SB 228 would have required safe storage of firearms and expanded background checks to help prevent violent crime. SB 346 would have created wastewater improvement districts to improve local infrastructure across the state.
@SenatorRandolph SB 21 would have required a summer study committee to study paid employee leave so that Indiana could begin taking steps to create this critical program for all Hoosiers. SB 26 would have prohibited employers from using consumer reports when hiring employees.
