Commentary on the net seems hopelessly naive about the Ukraine. It's a four-handed game is why.

The Hapsburg/Pan Europa/P2 bloc (see ISGP Studies to understand what that is) are clearly interested in returning Ruthenia to the Habsburg fold, and thus agree with Putin...
... who might want to restore the 1914 Imperial borders (see Yarvin for details here).

The Marxists obviously want to preserve the borders of Lenin, which involves keeping the Ukraine whole -- and the Hapsburgs would likely be ok with *Expansion*
The Anglo-American elites follow the City lead, which is *often* in alignment with the P2 block through the CIA, but not *invariably*. Are the Queen and the Pope always playing on the same Black Guelph team or not?
And where exactly is Biden in this -- the Clintons are clearly playing the Queen's Gambit, and the Pelosi faction are straight up Variant Xi satraps -- but what exactly were Hussein and Biden up to?

Ah, that's the strategic question of the moment, isn't it?
Biden is in effect Obama's Fourth Term, but has to share power with the Pelosi/Harris faction and to a lesser extent the Clintons and Bush/Neocons.

And that means Valerie Jarrett.
Meanwhile there are some dogs that aren't barking... Poland and the Grand Duchy of Lithuania come to mind.
Gentlemen (and Ladies)... we are in 1914 Sarajevo again.
The major factions might not want war (though their hungry retainers are barking for a meal)...

But does War want THEM. Ah, that's the question, isn't it. The Riddle of the Somme for our would-be Conans.

So here we are at half time in our thread on Temptation, Sin, Addition, the Narrative, and the Intelligence Agencies.

/our guy/ has just turned traitor and just agreed to work for the Enemy. Beyond 'fraternising' and gotten positively contrary to nature

We now reach a stage called 'predisposition' (to Sin) -- prolepsis. This is an important term that comes to us from Stoicism as well, and we will need to spend some time here.

Prolepsis is all the TV you've watched and news articles you've read that predispose you to sin
Your mind is scarred-- you need brain bleach to remove all the stored up images, many of them of past sins of your own, but also of suggestion and temptation, all of which can come into play AT ANY MOMENT and torment you.

You now have become a bit like an animal -- you have an

This thread will be long -- I'm going to go over each of the 6 stages of temptation (except the first, provocation) which we've done, with reference backwards in time to Stoicism and forwards to Critical Thinking and Intelligence Analysis.

Our primary references:
iep.utm.edu/stoicmind/ - for Stoics

For Greek terminology the standard appendix of the Philokalia (free at archive.org and linked at the thread below):

translatum.gr/forum/index.ph… (Scroll down or search for 'Temptation')
Because we are discussing 'The Narrative' in the frame of Intelligence analysis and also Addiction, we really do have to pay attention to the terminology around Phantasia...

Phantasiai are the 'presentations' of the senses -- sense data if you will. English reflexes are...

The position of a Christian facing the onslaught of the Narrative is precisely this:

“What happens is this. In a moment, without a word being spoken or an image presented, a sudden passionate urge lays hold of the victim. It comes faster than anything in the physical world ...
and is swifter and more indiscernible than any spirit. It makes its appearance in the soul by a simple memory, which is unconnected with anything, independent of time and inexpressible, and in some cases comes without the person him self realizing the fact...
Someone who has been able to detect such a subtlety, someone with the gift of mourning, may be able to explain how with the eye alone, with a mere glance, by the touch of a hand, through a song overheard, the soul is led to commit a definite sin of unchastity without any notion..

The key to this Selden Crisis is realising that a 'state' only can limit 'freedom of association' if it is a legitimate state, which has as its care the Salus Populi of the laity who have the Peculium, and not otherwise. In fact, this 'State' can do nothing at all to you --
you have Free Will. You have Reason. You have Truth. Against these, as the Apostle St Paul says, THERE IS NO LAW.

We live in the days of Social Justice, therefore, let Gideon Judge be our exemplum. Prepare the monks with trumpets, as in the days of Germanus of Auxerre.[1]
Let the Patriarchs who are called by this, be CALLED OUT. (ekklesia, in Greek -- the Christian Militia, if you will).

Germanus is traditionally credited with the establishment of the Diocese of Sodor and Man on the Isle of Man

@S_Coughlin_DC I'm probably more conservative than you on the 'evolution' topic as it relates to religion (to put it bluntly, I'm a Young Earth Creationist) -- however, as a scientist, it doesn't bother me that other scientists use the concept.
@S_Coughlin_DC First, we are talking microevolution here. It is certainly true that Darwin and that lyer Haeckel were misused in the service of philosophy -- and not mainstream until the Neo-Darwinian synthesis of the 1930s. Thus, pure propaganda.
@S_Coughlin_DC Evolution really does play an important unifying role in the science of Biology

For a website (with an annoying popup) that relates Aquinas and Aristotle to a keen interest in Evolution, I offer Dutch Philosopher Jaap Bax:

one of my maternal names is only common in Belgian. Ditto my wife's. You can be on the other side of the world but you will still know who is Mrs Right.
The Paternal Name is srsly Mercian though.
I'm down with renaming this cuntry Amercia.
