5. There was also tension regarding the government's huge investment in public infrastructure at a time when people needed to stay home such that people were being evicted during the curfew period to make way for roads and railways.

5.@AmnestyKenya did a study on this when a Nubian community in Kisumu was evicted affecting 3000+ people. This denoted the ridiculousness of calling for a stay at home order while bulldozing people out of their homes especially within informal settlements.

6. This resulted in human activists calling for a moratorium on all forced evictions which was not all the way successful but restricted the states ability to forcefully remove people from their homes especially at a time when the Delta Variant was raging. #CuttingEdgeIssues
