Being part of elite liberal media means calling it "fascism" when the working-class folks who brought the food to your door during the plague so you could sit at home in your pajamas typing "STOP THE SPREAD STAY HOME" on Twitter dare to speak up for themselves against your edicts
Can you imagine being a person who gets paid to sit in their homes and write things for a living smearing people who drive 16 hour shifts, destroying their bodies so the rest of us can eat? Have some goddamn respect. Have some humility for the ease of the life God gave you.
This is not even the point but most of those truckers are vaccinated. So even by the liberal standard, calling it fascism is literally just calling it fascism for people to have a different opinion, which seems to be the go to move when those people are poor or working class.

The elites don't even bother hiding their contempt for "the majority of people" anymore. It's exposed the emptiness of the stories they tell to push their own interests. The sides aren't Right and Left anymore. They're the side that has that contempt and the side nauseated by it.
This clip is saying the quiet part out loud: Elites like to masquerade like there are major policy debates dividing them. But political polarization is a pantomime that disguises the crucial things they share—enormous wealth, capture of over 50% of GDP, the desire for control.
Working people know this. They know that it's all kabuki theater at the top. It's why they just don't care who you voted for. Because the struggles that unite the bottom just outweigh whether you think abortion should be legal in the second trimester, or how you feel about Trump.

In the name of racial justice, progressives are sentencing Black children to live with bullets flying into their beds. They're siding with the mentally ill over the working class people they threaten, siding w/ the homeless over the poor kids whose parks they colonize. My latest:
"High on their own virtue, rich elites w/ acres of property are voting in politicians who allow the homeless to rob poor kids of parks. People w/ 2 SUVs in their driveway are voting to allow mentally ill people to threaten working class folks on subways."

Did you know that George Floyd's 4-year-old niece was shot in her little bed and woke up in a pool of blood? By the grace of God, she survived. Where is the outrage? Her blood and the blood of all the children who didn't survive is on our hands if we don't speak up.

Horrific to log on after Shabbat and read that there are four hostages being held at a Texas synagogue. Praying law enforcement is able to resolve this quickly.
"The man claims his sister is Aafia Siddiqui, a relative of Khalid Sheikh Muhammad, chief architect of the 9/11 terrorist attacks. Aafia Siddiqui is serving an 86-year sentence in the Fort Worth area for attempting to kill American military personnel."
jta.org/2022/01/15/uni…
"A lawyer who previously represented Siddiqui’s biological brother told The Daily Beast that he is not the person inside the synagogue. The man also made multiple references to his own mortality, saying he believed he was going to die.”

Man, this is just appalling. Here in the U.S. @elonmusk likes to play at being some kind of bad boy renegade. Meanwhile he's playing ball with China and opening a showroom in the region where China is committing an actual genocide against Uyghur Muslims.
wsj.com/articles/tesla…
@elonmusk A normie outlet like Walmart has the guts to pull Xinjiang products from its shelves and face the wrath of China while cutting edge Tesla is out here building a showroom in the shade of mass internment camps where women are forcibly sterilized and prisoners tortured and raped.
“On the last day of 2021, we meet in Xinjiang. In 2022, let us together launch Xinjiang on its electric journey!” - an ACTUAL post that Tesla wrote on Weibo, a Chinese social media platform, about a place where an actual genocide is taking place.

"We've abandoned a worldview based on right v. wrong for a worldview based on powerful v. powerless—then superimposed a racial binary on it. It's resulted in a taboo on covering crime in minority neighborhoods, whose victims we never hear about." My latest
dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1…
The victims of these crimes deserve good policing that is neither abusive nor neglectful. They deserve a media that says their names. They deserve a media that says we will NEVER accept that in the same cities we live in there are children with the life expectancy of the Congo.
I am just begging us all to do some soul searching as to why we don't cover crime. To me it seems like it's deeply tied to the larger pressures I'm always talking about - a moral panic about race and the abandonment of the working class by journalists who are now in the elites.

It's astonishing that someone who makes $174,000 a year isn't embarrassed to ask working class taxpayers to pay off her law school debt. At least they're honest: $50,000 in student loan forgiveness is a bail out for highly educated elites, and the Squad are their patron saints.
"The highest-income 40% of households owe almost 60% of the outstanding education debt and make almost three-quarters of the payments. The lowest-income 40% of households hold just under 20% and make only 10% of the payments."
brookings.edu/blog/up-front/…
Benefits of proposals to forgive $50,000 in student loans "would go to the top 40% of households because they have the bulk of the loans. Borrowers with advanced degrees represent 27% of borrowers, and would get 37% of the benefit," per Brookings:
