Parveen & Altaf’s father Yusuf Bhai used to manufacture Tanpuras for Pt Bheemsen Joshi ji! Today they’ve more client abroad than in India.Their concern: unless this small industry is given financial, technological and market support it may not sustain!Altaf gave live demo too 2/3
This is a glimpse of Altaf Mullas live demo of an exquisite Tanpura,made by him using a specially and carefully grown pumpkin!It takes close to 5 months to produce a classically manufactured Tanpura! @iccr_hq plans to support these manufactures in whatever way we can! 3/3
