Simon Ekpa's Politics of Division in IPOB
Simon Ekpa on Monday, 24th January 2022 gathered some Biafra agitators numbering about 40 from Ebonyi axis in an online meeting.

Ekpa while addressing the online gathering, accused IPOB and Mazi Nnamdi Kanu for excluding Ebonyi people in the DOS. In his speech, the self acclaimed disciple of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu accused the DOS for fighting against him because he is from Ebonyi State.

According to Ekpa…”in the DOS, no one is from Ebonyi State. They’re fighting me because I am from Ebonyi State” Ekpa said.

He also went on to advice them, ..Don’t listen to Radio Biafra, go out there and tell Biafrans to boycott Radio Biafra, they have hijacked Radio Biafra. I am going to launch my Radio in February. After that, there will be nothing like Radio Biafra Ekpa boasted.

This is not the first time Simon Ekpa is using the politics of divide and conquer to fight against IPOB. It is on record that Ekpa once called himself a Wawa man and accused IPOB of underrating wawa people in the struggle.

Truth be said, IPOB is not a political party where the dirty politics of state of origin is on top notch. The IPOB slogan “one family” accommodates all Biafrans irrespective of their state of origin, whether you are from coastal region or from hinter land of Biafra land.

For the records, the present members of DOS are from different parts of Biafra land including Ebonyi State where Mazi Nnachi, a DOS member hails from.

Biafrans should be at alert not to allow the politics of divide and conquer being deployed by Simon Ekpa to have its way into the Biafra struggle.
