Every time I travel , I love to stay in very nice hotels ./

So when I book tickets cheap, I look for how to get cheap accommodation too

I use these tricks and they work.

A THREAD

For accommodation, you need to use search engines. Those I’ve found to consistently have the best prices are:
📍Expedia (good for members only and last-minute deals)
📍Hotels Combined
📍Booking.com (offers special rates with free membership)

1. I discovered this service called roomertravel.com which allows you reserve a hotel room that some one else booked but doesn’t want anymore. By offering someone else's set booking, the original buyer gets some money back, and you get a reduced rate.

2. Some sites offer coupons like RetailMeNot.com & Coupons.com. Always put in the year and/or month to filter expired coupons, e.g. “Hotels.com September 2022 coupon”

3. Download groupon, wagjag, Travelzoo as well. Magic- a lot of deals there

4. Use Mystery deals – like hotwire and priceline usually help.
When you check for hotels, the name is only revealed after payment. They have deep discount rates & involves offering your own price on a known hotel (keep in mind that a bid is a commitment to that price each time

5. Use Last minute deals- most times, don’t rush but do not be too late . Such prices can be found on normal booking sites or via HotelTonight or Lastminute.com which specializes in last minute deals .

This one you can try if you love adventure and not afraid + willing to try new stuff.
It’s called the sharing economy – so you rent someone's home while they're on vacation. It’s hugely cheaper. I have used it in Belgium and Morrocco.

Additionally, use AirBnB, Homestay, Homeaway, Wimdu

I have visited 49 + countries, Most of them, CHEAP.

I have never spent more than £300 on tickets even from UK to Nigeria.

Let's talk about how to get CHEAPER than usual fares for your Flights, even fly for FREE.

I use them. They work . /A THREAD

You can fly to choice destinations for as low as $400 from Nigeria. I have taken flights from the UK for as low as £5.

You can fly without paying for Flights and Hotels. You can save a lot of money using these tips.

Here's how i do it:

1 - For Flights, You should turn on private browsing aka incognito mode- helps you find CHEAP flights as you'd appear as a new user of the airline website.

In Google Chrome or Safari, incognito is enabled by hitting Command (or “Control” if using PC), Shift, “N”

I have told this story before -

Years ago , I left Nigeria for the Middle East

I was earning 120k/month from 2 jobs

When I landed ,I tapped the ground, said a prayer and said I was never going back
