Some terrifying information has come up today which conclusive proves we are no longer in the India we grew up in
Drastic increase in electrocution risks - especially in the Gangetic belt

Who lives there? Muslims and Dalits. The government is trying to electrocute the weakest sections of society
India has the worlds highest number of road fatalities. So what does the incompetent Modi Govt do?

Build more roads.

Staggering failure at the highest levels of governance
In the good old days flying used to be an aspiration. But the regressive government doesn't want you to dream.

Made flying as common as taking an ugly train
Modi wants to control even the water you drink. A grotesquely insecure leader out to destroy our ways of life.
So far only 93 people have received their vaccine first dose and just 70 their second dose. 2 years into the pandemic.

Worse than the Holocaust.
Nationwide capture of valuable farmland by "start-ups"

Farmers feed you. What do start-ups do?

Godi media will never tell you this
Massive increase in reservations in sectors like Forex

How can 21st century India compete if we still play so much identity politics?
On the left - Mahatma Gandhi's idyllic India which lived in villages

On the right - Auswitsch with Indian characteristics
I have no idea what this is but looks extremely suspicious.

Is the government takings risks?? With what??
If this thread hasn't scared you, nothing will

Reach out to your friends abroad and beg them for funds so that we can still save whatever little of India of old still remains

The End.

Canada actively interfered in India's internal affairs during the farmer protests.

Funds raised at an industrial scale in Canada was one of the key reasons why a small group of people could hold the country hostage for a year
Eventually the government had to surrender - millions of our poor farmers yet again paid the price.

What consequences did Canada face? Nothing. Just the way it faced no price after the Khalistanis it actively supports blew up 300 Indians in the Kanishka bombing
We can't target Khalistanis in Canada
We can't stop their funds influencing domestic events here
We can't downgrade our relations with Canada

I am sure @DrSJaishankar and @MEAIndia can explain for hours why "its complicated"

A trend is taking shape - Bangladesh and Pakistan will present their domestic fundamentalism as a "reaction" to "more communalism" in India

Actual slaughter of the handful of Hindus left there will be justified as retribution against the perceived attacks within India
This will be helped by the narratives being framed by the "moderate" Islamists within India on how the whole Hindu community is now radicalized and the only difference with Nazi Germany is that we do not speak German
The "farmer protests" are a key element as it helps the Islamists, Khalistanis and the foreign media to write how Hindus are so extreme now that they aren't just anti-Muslim but against all minorities

Afghan refugees have kept raping women across Europe. The press kept covering them up to avoid giving fodder to "nationalist groups"

While being horrifying on its own, what does this remind you of?…
Another parallel

"Within hours or days of their arrival, the Afghan-refugee grapevine educates newcomers as to the ins and outs of navigating the country: what offices to go to and what to say when you get there, where to apply for additional aid, where to find free housing"
Why are the Afghan refugees doing this - terrifying but all too familiar reason

The Olympics provided another opportunity for us to assess the two political options we face today. The differences are stark and consequential
In the last 14 days, the PM was the loudest and most prominent cheerleader for our players (for both winners and almost-winners)

Rahul Gandhi meanwhile spent the week working hard to turn a horrifying gangrape of a child into an opportunity to create inter-caste discord
Modi’s message has always been that our best days are ahead of us

Our new heroes – the ones building the unicorns, the medallists in Tokyo, the ones making chowmein of the enemy at Galwan all belong to this viewpoint

Lot’s of work to do. We will do it and build a great tomorrow

Imagine the following

BJP wins a state election - then goes around methodically targeting the opposition
People get murdered all around, women get gangraped. Evidence begins to emerge that particularly Muslim women are being targeted
Now imagine the resulting domestic AND international narrative. The daily headlines, the op-eds abroad, the protests in front of our embassies, the petitions, the short-films, the Insta posts.

Antony Blinken would only talk about this with Jaishankar

Imagine where Jack Dorsey's ego is after slaying Trump. You think he will comply with our laws?

My naïve view is that India should suspend Twitter operations immediately (by direct/indirect means) & then let Twitter negotiate

Landing a punch on the bully first is important
Out of all the tech giants, Twitter is the least important to the people of India. Smallest user base and almost zero commercial implications

Just shut them down and tell them "We are busy now, check for an appointment in October"
Mumbai ka Joe Rogan is wrong. You do slow and steady for problems like China. For Twitter, you do fast and arbitrary

"Building a case" is futile when India's courts are less predictable than a Bay of Bengal cyclone's path
