I thought that for the next few weeks, it would be fun to highlight some of the aspects of this curriculum that make it so exciting and novel.

First, the content authors. This curriculum is written by those whose primary work is in COSECSA countries or who have had significant experience in the region. To date, more than 40 authors have contributed content.
4/6
This includes authors from Kenya, Cameroon, Niger, Uganda, Zambia, Ethiopia, Malawi, Tanzania, Rwanda, and the US.
5/6
This material is created by those with the perspective from where the education is happening, a perspective so often missed in global surgery and global surgical education. And it advances the work of COSECSA educators.
