I don't usually put personal things on Twitter, I'm a very private person but to my followers that don't know - after a short battle with Pancreatic Cancer my Dad passed away at the start of January. This was a huge shock to my family and we didn't know where to begin 1/5
with the support that my Dad needed at home. @macmillancancer stepped in and were incredibly helpful with not only the advice they gave us as a family facing the brutal reality of a cancer diagnosis but also the hands on care that my Dad needed. 2/5
@macmillancancer@macmillancancer were there day and night to help us out with whatever was necessary to help us face this challenge. It is with this in mind that I've decided to run the @marathonbcm this year to raise funds for Macmillan. 3/5
@macmillancancer@marathonbcm You might already know that I love to run and have taken part on many races over in the past but 26.2 miles is still a challenge for me. Any contribution no matter how small would be appreciated 4/5
@macmillancancer@marathonbcm and hopefully can help pay towards supporting another family through the challenges that we faced.
Please find my @JustGiving page below and contribute what you can.
