Lady Makes $100,000 In One Day Teaching Excel Online
A 28-year-old influencer, Kat Norton, popularly called Miss Excel on TikTok and Instagram has narrated how she has made over a million dollars teaching Excel on social media.
Kat said she got the idea during the COVID-19 pandemic while discussing side hustles with her friend.
In an interview with CNBC News, Norton said, "In the early days of the COVID_19 pandemic, I had stopped travelling for my consulting job and was working from
home on Long Island. After a few months, though, I grew bored and restless. I wanted something different.
"One day, I was on the phone with my best friend, Anna, tossing around side hustle ideas that could leverage the
four years I spent teaching Microsoft Excel at my consulting firm.
"Suddenly, a lightning bolt hit: I could post mini Excel lessons on TikTok.
"Little did I know, that idea would lead to a fun side hustle that would eventually turn into Miss Excel, my
successful full-time Excel training business."
Norton added that after she began posting videos in June 2020, she got a business deal to produce Excel training videos.
"I formed an LLC (Limited Liability Company) on June 15, 2020. The next thing I knew, I was in business.
"I finally felt ready to quit my job and focus on being a full-time entrepreneur: February 1, 2021, was my last day in corporate America.
"Since leaving my job, I’ve made more than $1 million in Miss Excel sales. And in October 2021, I crossed a
major milestone: I made $100,000 in sales — in just one day."

Court Fines Ghanaian Pastor For Illegally Using Strobe Lights, Siren
A popular Ghanaian pastor, Bishop Daniel Obinim and his driver, Eric Kofi Agyeman have been fined GH₵ 1,200 (N78,568.58) for the illegal use of strobe lights and sirens.
In a statement published on its Facebook page, Ghana Police Service said, the Akropong Magistrate Court ordered the fine on Wednesday after they were charged before it.
Obimim, who is the head pastor of the International God’s Way Church, was said to have fitted strobe lights and siren on his Toyota Landcruiser contrary to road traffic regulations 74 (1) of Road Traffic Regulation 2012 LI 2180 of Ghana.
