Suggestion for the next forum: assign a tv prod team for each presidential candidate so they can be sure of the broadcast quality. The goal is effective communication, not more or less. #KBPPresidentialForum
Communication is co-created. If we want to reach the public better, the responsibility falls on both parties.
Technical problems happen all the time, but these can be mitigated with foresight. Mobilize the regional TV crews or outsource one.
The decision for an all-male panel needs to be addressed. Gender is a factor in the narrative. There are important national issues that go with gender. I hope that next time, the panel will be more inclusive.
The alliance of radio and tv networks signals a good thing: media remains active as watchdog of governance.

When I said assign a tv prod team, it means giving equal opportunities for all candidates. This also means mobilizing the units that use satellite when covering typhoons in areas where signal is difficult. There are ways to make it happen.

Maybe next time it’ll be good to engage the public as well? Assign reporters to communities and let the people ask questions. Gamit na gamit yung narrative ng mahihirap, mangingisda, magsasaka, pero wala sila sa usapan.
