The feds are seeking 21 months for Antoinne Brodnax, who used a Jan. 6 image "on the cover of a rap music album, which includes tracks with titles that reference the attack on the Capitol."
There’s no plea deal, he just pleaded guilty to four counts.
DOJ: "While higher than many Capitol riot misdemeanor sentences, that disparity is not unwarranted in light of the defendant’s lengthy and significant criminal history…” storage.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.usco…
Brodnax’s federal public defender says his "decision to enter a straight up plea in lieu of entering a plea agreement is not a factor for the Court to consider in imposing sentence in this case.” Link: storage.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.usco…
Included in the latest batch of Jan. 6 videos: Footage of Trump fanatic Danny Rodriguez driving a stun gun into the neck of Officer Mike Fanone after he was abducted by the mob.
“Most of the people on the ground are buffoons, so what? There are 15,000 of them.” huffpost.com/entry/mike-fan…
More footage that was released through the court process:
Suit aside, online sleuths do not believe the guy in the front here is a Hill staffer. He was in the crowd for Trump’s speech, in the mob outside the Capitol, and appears to have attended a Jan. 5 event. He’s also seen smoking in the rotunda.
Don't have coverage of his entrance at the moment, but here he is in the rotunda at 2:30:09, shortly after the breach of the east doors. He's headed for Pelosi's wing, and is in that hallway by 2:31.
The FBI has removed suspects from the page before, including one because they were under underage. But with conspiracy theorists looking to feed a “false flag” narrative, removing suspects now could get tricky: nbcnews.com/politics/justi…
The FBI isn’t supposed to release derogatory information about suspects if, for example, prosecution is declined (see: 2016).
But that puts the bureau in a tricky position in explaining why suspects are removed from the Jan. 6 page.
Ryan Nichols’ attorney Joseph McBride — who told me he doesn’t “give a shit about being wrong” — is one of the stars of Tucker Carlson’s Patriot Purge series.
He’s the guy throwing out “agent provocateur” claims that have blown up in his face.
NEW: Video shows rioters outside of Nancy Pelosi's office on Jan. 6.
Lots of familiar faces in there:
This was one of four videos released in connection with the Lawrence Stackhouse case.
Stackhouse told the FBI he "was wearing a Proud Boys hoodie while at the U.S. Capitol" but is not a member of the Proud Boys, per his admitted statement of offense.
A photo, for reference:
At the front of the mob in Pelosi’s wing, you’ll notice David Walls-Kaufman, the Capitol Hill chiropractor whose office is just blocks away:
