The anti-China propaganda you see today is basically the West screaming out in PAIN. Massive, excruciating, unbearable pain.

So they're just lashing out in any way they can. The purpose of the Hybrid War is to stop China from delivering any more pain to the West (i.e doing well)
They're losing their position of power and the might to lecture and bully the world.

No two nations have delivered as much pain to the West than the USSR and China. With China today, the western alliance is crumbling, their lead in science and technology is eroding,
their cultural hegemony and soft power are not achieving the desired results, economic sanctions are falling flat, their interventions and color revolution attempts are failing, and their attempts to diplomatically turn the world against China are failing even more.
Propaganda is basically the main weapon they have left. While they scramble to find new ways to stop the pain using other fronts of the Hybrid War - Propaganda is evergreen, flexible, and adaptable to any situation.

The current desparate nature of Sinophobic propaganda today,
which has descended into direct, unapologetic racism, is indicative of their struggles. The more they lose, the more desparate they get, the more blatant the propaganda becomes. The more they lash out, the more you know they're losing. It's only going to get worse from here.

Eileen Gu is the opposite of a boba liberal:

1. Best in the world at what she does (at 18)

2. Credits and pays respects to parents/grandparents

3. Doesn't deride parents and "Asian upbringing" in public

4. Values nation of her heritage more and not just her "adopted homeland"
5. Refuses to make any political statement whatsoever - EXCEPT on issues she actually knows about that she has herself experienced in her nation of residence - and not some obscure, unrelated topics from the other end of the globe spread by western media

scmp.com/sport/china/ar…
6. Fluent in both English and Mandarin

7. Milks corporate sponsors from BOTH of the world's two largest economies and makes them her bitches - while the US commentariat tears its hair out about her "loyalty"

8. Shows the US its place when she wants to:

This applies to many China-related issues - the propagandists will be liberal at home, but conservative for China.

When the West does something good, it's touted as progressive and modern - but when China does the same thing, it's derided as oppression and authoritarianism
This is most egregiously seen in the Xinjiang atrocity propaganda. When China does in Xinjiang what western liberals demand at home, such as open immigration, healthcare, infrastructure, employment, promotion of interracial marriages, separation of church and state etc...
it's criticized as cultural genocide and eradication of an ethnic minority's culture.

People who fancy themselves as progressive, forward-thinking, modern liberals at home, suddenly turn into fascist, alt-right, white supremacist, ultra conservatives when talking about China.

Perhaps the most amusing aspect of the boba-liberal, faux-progressive East Asian diaspora in the West, especially the journalist-comprador class, is not how so few people give a fuck about them - but their own lack of awareness about how so few people give a fuck about them.
Their "journeys" of "discovering" their "roots" and "identity", their "struggles" with "belonging" and "dislocation" and "microaggressions", their superiority complex and mocking of mainland Chinese (often even their own parents and relatives) and portraying them as brainwashed..
All accompanied by pimping oneself out to the genocidal US regime and power structure, a blind unquestioning faith in western "democracy" as the ultimate solution to all humanity's problems, betraying one's own people to satisfy one's hunger for crumbs of white adjacency...

Schrodinger's Sexual Assault:

Women in Xinjiang's re-education camps are both sexually assaulted and not sexually assaulted - depending on which version of the SAME womens' testimony you choose to believe.
Ofc, one can always argue that the trauma was such that they could only talk about it later.

It's also possible that it was an isolated crime by one or two guards.

Yet, the accusation and implication is that such crimes are state-sponsored and WIDESPREAD across the "camps".
Moreover, imagine if they said something good about China. Western media would never stop reminding us that they changed their testimony.

Then the headline would be:
'Camp Detainee Changes Testimony, now Claims Sexual Assault'

Which actually fits ALL such stories perfectly.

A local Chinese textbook called homosexuality a "psychosexual" disorder - even though it is not classified as a mental illness in China.

The publisher was sued, and the court ruled in favor of it citing...academic freedom (you know, what the West wants China to have more of). Image
Ofc, western media isn't really interested in LGBTQ issues in China. It's just another "human rights" cudgel to try to beat China with

Yet, the ruling is odd, given that an official textbook from Jinan University Press contradicts the official stance of the government of China.
One possibility is that this particular textbook was not updated since the law on homosexuality changed in 2001 (and even its recent 2013 edition, which was used in court, retained the error).

Here's what Chinese school textbooks have to say on the topic:

The largest anti-imperialist, anti-capitalist struggle in the world today is occurring in India.

And what do you hear from western media? Crickets.

They lose their shit at one (1) protest in China with single-digit attendance, but ignore millions striking & protesting in India. ImageImageImageImage
The bare minimum reporting that they do allow is entirely devoid of detail

That's because the protests are against the very corporations that have purchased the souls of the western media - and whose neo-liberal agenda they push dutifully. No wonder they're not interested.
In this podcast, we talk about what you won't find in western media: the context and background, and why and how people are protesting.

At the end, we also discuss what western leftists can take away from this unparalleled exercise in mass mobilization.
