and Lieutenant General Sahir Shamshad Mirza, Corps Commander Rawalpindi was installed as the 13th Colonel Commandant of the Sind Regiment in a ceremony held at Sind Regiment Centre, Hyderabad .

General Nadeem Raza, Chairman JCSC and Lieutenant General Muhammad Saeed, Corps Commander Karachi pinned the badges of rank on the shoulders of Lieutenant General Sahir Shamshad Mirza, to formally install him as the 13th Colonel Commandant of Sind Regiment.

Speaking at the occasion, General Nadeem Raza lauded the performance of Infantry during war and peace.

SINDH POLICE, TO PARTICIPATE IN PAKISTAN DAY PARADE-2022
A special contingent of 371 personnel of SindhPolice comprising 182Commandos of Special Security Unit (SSU),131 personnel of Traffic Police and other districts of Karachi Range and 58 personnel of Rapid Response Force 1/4
(RRF) is set to participate in Pakistan Day Parade-2022.
The traditional Pakistan Day Parade-2022 also known as the ‘Joint Services Pakistan Day Parade’ is an annual event held at parade ground Shakarparian, Islamabad. 2/4
It is pertinent to mention here that a special contingent of lady commandos of Special Security Unit (SSU) representing Sindh police participated last year for the very first time in 81st Pakistan Day parade. 3/4

A detailed briefing was given to PM on security situation in the area. In his interaction with troops, PM paid rich tribute to the martyrs and their families for their ultimate sacrifices for Pakistan. 2/6

PAKISTAN ARMY BUDGET,
REALITY VS PROPAGANDAS:

Three years ago, the Pakistan Army's budget was 9.4 billion.
Three years later, the Pakistan Army's budget was slashed to 8.8 billion.
During same period,
🇮🇳defense budget increased from 57billion to 65.86 billion.
In other words,🇮🇳has increased its budget by8.8 billion,which is equal to our total defense bgt.
In addition to defense bgt, India has set aside 18 billion for purchase of weapons,especially F. jets.
In budget, the defense budget was kept at 16% of the total national budget.
While budget of the Pakistan Army is only 7% of the total.
The total defense budget is 2.8% of our GDP.
