Filmmaker Erik Matti called out Toni Gonzaga who hinted at being unbothered amid criticisms over her support to presidential aspirant Bongbong Marcos, son of late dictator Ferdinand Marcos.
Gonzaga reshared on her Instagram story a post of her fan describing her as "unbothered" following her controversial hosting stint at the Marcos-Duterte proclamation rally.
Matti initially explained the atrocities of Nazi German dictator Adolf Hitler during the holocaust and Marcos during the Martial Law period, saying that the horrors from the two historical events are real.
"I cannot fathom anyone, who have access to the same historical facts from our books and Youtube like everyone else, can still have the gall to hold their head so high to the point of being so arrogant and obnoxious..."
"...to brush away critics and dissenters even acknowledging and flaunting it with such an insensitive hashtag," said Matti.
"To give your support to any political candidate whether or not out of affinity, blood or loyalty is between you and your conscience," he added.
The actress-host hasn't released an official statement yet over the issue.
