More info on the Hillsdale K-12 charter application sitting with @WCSedu for review - a 🧵. You can find the official application linked here (all 317 pages of it) but let's talk about where @Moms4LibertyWC comes into play....

When @Moms4LibertyWC advertised the new Hillsdale charter school in their Facebook group, it showed the 1776 curriculum. "1776" is literally not found once in the 317 pages of the detailed charter curriculum application.

Some @Moms4LibertyWC got VERY excited about this 1776 curriculum which they said was created to defend against CRT and, specifically, the 1619 Project.

You can read all about the 1776 curriculum on the Hillsdale College website. Reminder: Hillsdale bills itself as "a small, Christian, classical liberal arts college in southern Michigan that operates independently of government funding."

So clearly the mother ship at Hillsdale College prides itself on not taking "government funding," but instead are working to secure taxpayer funds through their K-12 charter school network. Such as the one currently sitting with @WCSedu and across TN, supported by @GovBillLee

This has soooo many tentacles. One of the @Moms4LibertyWC PAC major ($1k) donors is the TN state director of @csg - which has major ties to both Hillsdale and the Koch family. Interesting that MFL is helping advertise this charter school.

It keeps going. The local Hillsdale charter has named itself USA Classical Academy. Those of us who were around for the "Muslim Indoctrination by Social Studies Curriculum" area recognize quite a few of their Founding Members: usaclassicalacademy.com

The 9-12 Project was the local Tea Party group of activists working against our public school system, with a lot of success in disrupting things. You can read more here but there's a *really* relevant piece of info related to this group...

9-12 worked hard to get their members elected to our School Board in 2014, and their slate of endorsed candidates won all 6 open seats...including Jay Galbreath, who is *still* on the Board and TOTALLY COINCIDENTALLY is the only Board member on the CHARTER SCHOOL REVIEW COMMITTEE

So to recap: The Tea Party team has worked to get the private, Christian Hillsdale College-affiliated charter school application in front of a committee that has a Tea Party-endorsed Board member, to redistribute state taxpayer money to a private "charter" school.

The "grassroots" @Moms4LibertyWC is the rebranded Tea Party. This is pretty well known/understood, but their end game is now clear...they tried in 2014, failed, and are back at it with more national coordination. "Islamic indoctrination" failed...rinse and repeat.

Anti-CRT and book banning and the like are all chess moves to get parents and teachers to abandon public schools and come to their private schools. Full stop. And guess who's pockets are being lined?
