1/ CryptoSkulls Update 💀

We’ve got some exciting things in the works that we would like to share.

2/ As many of you may know, our community is currently in the process of transitioning to a DAO. We believe a DAO structure will lay the foundation needed for future growth and enable the CryptoSkulls community to execute on the ambitious vision outlined in this thread.

3/ We recently completed our first Snapshot vote and 543 holders participated! This was an important first step for us. Soon we will be governing a vault with 1,500 CryptoSkulls currently worth 1,449Ξ ($4.73M) so we have to get comfortable with this process.

4/ We have also just released the rough draft of the Skull Paper which outline’s our DAO’s governance process. We encourage everyone to review it and leave feedback in the #dao-ideas channel of our Discord.

5/ We’re also working on locking in an experienced US law firm who can help set up our DAO’s entity and advise us moving forward. The decision has been made to create our DAO in the most legally responsible way possible. We have to go slow to go fast if that makes sense.

6/ Another major initiative we are working on is building the Skull Nation brand. A modern brand that carries our historic project into the future. This is how we will reach millions of people outside of the crypto space. Here's a mockup of what a hoodie could look like.

7/ We are working with some of the best designers in the world (hired by Nike, Netflix, etc.) to create a brand identity system. We'll then use it to make short-form content with the end goal of partnering with a high-end fashion brand to create a Skull Nation clothing line.

8/ On another front, Alex has quit his job and is working full-time to build out the Skullverse. We are currently talking with one of the top brands in the space about creating metaverse experiences (think 3D voxel skulls, games, virtual events, an exclusive lounge, etc.)

9/ Things have been slow on the historical front with @LeonidasNFT spending most of his time on the DAO but once the DAO is set up we’ll continue building our platform to honor the early pioneers and tell the stories of NFT’s past.

@LeonidasNFT 10/ As the second 10k pfp project ever the CryptoSkulls are deeply rooted in history and are in a unique position to unite all historical NFT communities under one roof. We will do this by making strategic acquisitions of other historical NFTs and displaying them in our museum.

@LeonidasNFT 11/ On Wednesday we completed the rebuild of our Discord which better organizes channels and gives it a clean new feel. With this, we also introduced the “Alpha” section where skull holders will have access to both historical NFT alpha and whitelist opportunities for newer drops.

@LeonidasNFT 12/ We continue to produce fun spaces every Wednesday with incredible guests such as @x0rart and @sarahaustin who came up on our most recent one. We’ll continue to build out this weekly show with the hopes of it becoming a staple in the space.

We’ll keep everyone updated and soon with the DAO, there will be a better structure to allow more of you to step up and contribute. Now let's get to work! 👊
